Will Season 9 be the last time Chrishell Stause appears on Selling Sunset? Maybe.
Chrishell had a rough run this year. After a season filled with fighting, strained friendships, slurs against her partner, and off-limits conversations regarding her late parents, Chrishell feels spent. And from the sounds of things, her “brutal” Season 9 reunion experience might be enough to see Chrishell walking away from Selling Sunset for good.
Is Chrishell Stause leaving Selling Sunset?
Last week, Season 9 of Selling Sunset dropped on Netflix. As for the reunion, this airs Wednesday, November 5. According to Chrishell, this reunion and Season 9 were beyond taxing to endure. So, as she recently explained to Variety, she has no interest in returning for another season.
As Chrishell explained, this “reunion was so brutal.” During and after filming, Chrishell realized that, “going forward,” she felt “done here.” Now, she wishes “everyone the best, but this isn’t the place for me.”
As for the reunion itself, “It felt a little bit like a dog pile,” Chrishell noted. And now, regarding Season 10, Chrishell quipped, “I don’t know when they will start filming. I hope they never tell me.”
Chrishell failed to snag an invite to the Season 9 premiere party. However, Bre Tiesi planned this party, not Netflix. So, while Bre might feel giddy about Chrishell’s potential exit, nothing is set in stone yet regarding Season 10. Overall, Bre’s snub was personal, and it did not reflect the network’s feelings regarding Chrishell’s continued presence on this series.
So, is Chrishell serious about exiting filming? Or is this like when she threatened to leave Selling Sunset following Season 8, only to appear again on Season 9? Only time will tell.
