Robyn Brown of Sister Wives had to rethink plural marriage with Kody Brown once again. The Brown patriarch shared that he heard from another woman who had expressed interest in joining the family. This made her stop and think about what that would mean and if she was even open to it at this point.
Robyn married Kody in the hopes of gaining sister wives. Unfortunately, it wasn’t long after they got together that Kody’s marriages to Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown fell apart. Once Christine finally left him, it was just a matter of time before the others left him too. But it looks like Kody still has women interested.
Robyn Brown thought about the prospect for a “split second”
For a while there, it seemed like Robyn’s dream of a plural marriage was over. Kody said he no longer wanted to wade into that craziness anymore. However, that doesn’t seem to stop the women from reaching out to him.
He shared with Robyn that a woman sent him a message “chastising him” for giving up plural marriage. She also expressed interest in joining their family.
This caught Robyn off guard. But she does admit that she understands what makes Kody so “attractive.”
“When a young woman sees a married, stable man, that is attractive,” Robyn shared. “You know he’s figured out some of his bull crap, he’s got a wife that’s happy, and he knows how to be a dad. That’s gonna make any girl’s eggs drop.”
She clarified, “I mean, any young woman would be like, ‘Oh, he’s marriage material because he’s already married.’” Robyn admitted that she thought about what it would be like to add someone new for “a split second.” She admitted that she did want that for her life and pondered how they’d fit in.
At the same time, though Robyn thought it was “inappropriate” for the woman to reach out to Kody. “It’s not usually proper to go hitting on a guy. You have to go through the sister wives. You have to go through, like, at least one.”
Looks like this particular applicant may not make the cut, but that plural marriage may not be ruled out after all?
