Jason Kelce details fighting with daughter Wyatt over a waffle
Jason Kelce spoke to Travis on the New Heights podcast about the “chaos” that unfolded during his trip to Disney World with his wife and children. He revealed he got into a tiff with his eldest, Wyatt, over a waffle.
“I’m in a full fight with Wyatt over a f***ing waffle,” Jason shared in the episode. He added that their fight lasted for 30 minutes of the day, during which he tried to explain to her why she couldn’t take a whole waffle and could only have a piece, reminding her that there were four waffles and 15 people.
Furthermore, Jason shared that although his daughter became “furious,” he didn’t relent and maintained his firm stance. This was even after his wife intervened to settle their dispute and tried to persuade him to give her the waffle. He clarified that Kylie backed him in the dispute, despite her intervention.
Jason revealed that Wyatt started crying and had a “full meltdown,” only for a Jack Sparrow cosplayer to come and save the day. He praised the cosplayer and noted that Wyatt’s mood improved after that. He added that she changed her mind on sharing treats and was willing to share beignets they were buying from Princess Tiana’s area.
During the episode, Jason also spoke about his experience of exploring Disney World. The ex-Philadelphia Eagles center told the Kansas City Chiefs tight end that he couldn’t imagine the latter in his situation. Travis replied, joking that he would simply don a “goofy mask” and enjoy. Jason informed Travis that Disney World had “goofy hats” and not masks, surprising the latter. “You’re not allowed to wear masks?” The latter asked.
