If you have eyes, then you know that Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay has undergone a dramatic physical transformation since she first came onto our screens. It’s not a secret. She does own Beauty Lab + Laser, after all!
Owning a medical spa means that Heather gets plenty of free cosmetic treatments, but there’s only so much they can do at Beauty Lab + Laser. She had to invest a significant amount of cash into looking the way she does.
Heather Gay thinks she’s spent around $200,000 on cosmetic procedures
From weight loss drugs to shiny new teeth, Heather opened up to Bustle about her history with cosmetic procedures. According to her, the journey began years before Real Housewives of Salt Lake City came to fruition when she got two nose jobs.
“I was doing social media for [a plastic surgeon], and he offered it for free,” Heather explained. “I had heard about NeNe Leakes on Real Housewives of Atlanta getting her nostrils tucked and thought, ‘That’s what I want!’”
That plastic surgeon gave Heather a free nose job and a blepharoplasty. She also got a mommy makeover, courtesy of her ex-husband. This was all before we ever saw her on TV.
Fast forward to her Real Housewives debut, and Heather was already getting high on her own supply at Beauty Lab + Laser. However, she “scrambled” after seeing herself on TV and started getting even more treatments. Just this year alone, she estimated receiving nearly $11,000 in free treatments at Beauty Lab, ranging from Sculptra to lip filler.
Then, she began using GLP-1 drugs to lose weight. She’s been on those medications on and off for three years, with the injections running anywhere from $500 to $1,200 a month. Ahead of Season 4, she took things a step further.
“I had a fourth-season glow-up,” Heather recalled. “That’s when I was really invested in what I was wearing. I was losing weight and cared more about how I looked. I also got veneers last year, which I paid cash for — it was about 30 grand.”
With a snatched waist, new teeth, and a face full of injectables, Heather feels “much better” about her appearance. She totaled up all of her work to around $200,000, and she said it’s “worth every penny.” According to her, perfect teeth, lashes, and hair are just part of the “required uniform of a Housewife.”
