Sumit Singh first met his current wife, Jenny Slatten, when he catfished her online, pretending to be an English man by the name of Michael Jones. However, after coming clean with Jenny, the two decided to pursue a relationship anyway. On The Other Way Season 1, Jenny moved to India to be with Sumit, but the two had many issues.

In addition to hiding the fact that he was already married from a previous arranged marriage, Sumit’s parents were very much against his relationship with Jenny. The couple eventually got married in secret and only later informed Sumit’s parents. Sumit and Jenny are still married and living in India.
