Celebrity Apprentice Recap: And Then There Were Two

I called it — I knew Clay Aiken was not going to be let go from Celebrity Apprentice, simply because the camera tricks were entirely too obvious. Reality television programs love to mess with our minds and this was no exception. Last week, it was clear that Marlee Matlin and John Rich were not fans of Aubrey O’Day, and I had a feeling she would be fired.

Donald Trump fired Aubrey by saying she was “transparent.” Which is true, and Aubrey responded by saying she wasn’t. Aubrey is transparent, and extremely smart, but overplayed her hand by constantly taking credit for everything and talking shit about her colleagues. The only person Aubrey didn’t insult on camera was Lisa Lampanelli (too scared she would end up in Lisa’s act?); even her so-called friend Teresa Giudice was given the talking head snark treatment.

Celebrity Apprentice Recap: Failure To Launch

This week’s Celebrity Apprentice had the perfect name, Failure To Launch. At the end of the episode, it didn’t feel like anyone did a particularly good job, with everyone skating by and leaning on their alliances.

The task this week: create a 10 minute presentation on the new Buick Verrano and answer a 10 minute Q & A. Donald tells everyone the task, while standing at Grand Army Plaza, with all his rich friends looking down on him from their high-rises. He says some of them are great people, and others are scum. And which one would you be, Donald? That’s a question for the ages.

It’s obvious that Michael Andretti, the race car driver from a legendary racing family, should be the project manager, but for reasons beyond human understanding, Adam Carolla is chosen as project manager. On the women’s side, Debbie Gibson takes the lead since she has experience performing. I didn’t hear them say the presentation would be at a mall, but okay.

NBC Confirms Teresa Giudice & Victoria Gotti On Celebrity Apprentice Season 5! Will Premiere February 12

In what might just be the worst kept secret of all time, Donald Trump and NBC are finally revealing the cast of Celebrity Apprentice season 5!

The network unveiled the latest crop of D-list celebrities who will compete for a $250,000 cash prize for their bank accounts favorite charities! And just as we reported back in October, Italian sisters from another mother — Victoria Gotti and RHONJ housewife Teresa Giudice are a part of the cast!

In fact, Victoria revealed a while back that Teresa and her ended up getting into a major blowout during filming. C.A.N.T. W.A.I.T!

“This season of ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ will be the most exciting yet. The show will be great, with a record number of contestants and 15 episodes. We are thrilled to bring 18 new and talented celebrities who will help me make ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ one of the hottest shows on television this spring,” promises The Donald.

Unfortunately for Teresa’s fake BFF Dina Manzo, Tre did not pick her Lady Bug charity for the show. Ouch!

Celebrity Apprentice Season 5 Cast Revealed! Find Out The 18 Celebrity Contestants!

Reality Tea can now confirm the identities of all the 18 celebrities participating in Celebrity Apprentice season 5!

All thanks to a show insider who sent us the full list — posted below — of the 18 celebrities (nine female and nine male) filming the new season!

As reported previously, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and famous mobster daughter Victoria Gotti are indeed part of the cast (Nene Leakes vs Star Jones the sequel anyone?!) and joining them will be the likes of Adam Carolla, Aubrey O’Day, Clay Aiken, Debbie Gibson, Lisa Lampanelli and others!

Below is the full cast list –

Women’s Team:

Another source tells Reality Tea the women were spotted filming at Cafe Metro on W 52nd Street in NYC on Tuesday during which they had a challenge that required them to cook and sell food. They sold “$20 Grilled Cheeses, and $100 or $500 sandwiches.”

Our source also supplied us with the below pics which includes a group shot of the women on the menu and another shot of Teresa actually slaving away in the kitchen! Those pics are below!

According to reports, Celebrity Apprentice season 5 is scheduled to premiere early next year.

Real Housewives of New York Reunion Photos & Details! Plus Preview New Episode

The Real Housewives of New York City filmed their season 4 reunion yesterday with filming lasting a total of 12 hours!

This taping is a bit early as it is five weeks away from the airing of their season finale (a total of 16 regular episodes will air this season). However as always, the housewives got to see all the episodes that have yet to air before the reunion taping.

As for why Bravo decided to film the reunion so early (it’s usually filmed about 2 – 3 weeks before the finale), Simon van Kempen (whatever happened to his song?) tweeted yesterday that it “was impossible to find a July date when all #RHoNY were in NYC”. They have jobs or something?

Jill Zarin tweeted the above photo yesterday of herself with costar Cindy Barshop. Below — more behind the scenes photos of Ramona Singer, Alex McCord, Sonja Morgan & Jill.

An of course all parties involved tweeted during and after the reunion. And based on those tweets, it appears Countess Lulu believes the knock down drag out reunions fights are a “great time,” Kelly needed some help from her “fans” on what to say, Andy Cohen might or might not have lost his temper with the ladies, and if there’s one thing clear, it is that it’s still the Brunettes vs the Blondes.

Meanwhile, an all new episode of the RHONY is set to air tonight on Bravo at 10/9c. On the 12th episode this season titled “Sixteen and Skip the Sweet,” it’s a birthday blitz when Ramona plans a sweet-16 party for Avery, LuAnn meets with a party planner for her own daughter’s 16th birthday, and LuAnn throws a surprise birthday bash for Jill. Also, Jill gets her widely reported “liquid face lift” on tonight’s episode. A preview clip is below.
