Tamra Judge has not survived 12 seasons of the Real Housewives of Orange County by being the nice girl. Housewife fans know that being agreeable often results in contracts not being renewed. As we have seen over the years, being “nice” is not always second nature to conflict veteran Tamra. We have watched her be shady with Gretchen Rossi, mock Alexis Bellino and throw wine in Jeana Keough’s face. And allegedly running her mouth got Tamra slapped with a million dollar lawsuit courtesy of Jim Bellino.
More recently, Tamra gaslighted Shannon Beador by playing up to her hypochondria following a bizarre mallet gonging by Kelly Dodd. So, where does Tamra’s pot-stirring nature end? For some Housewives, distasteful behavior stops when the cameras are turned off. For Tamra, the lines are a little more blurred.
There is a complicated history between Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge and alum Gretchen Rossi. Let’s remember back to a dinner party during Gretchen’s first season. It was at Tamra’s house, and Tamra planned to get an engaged Gretchen “naked wasted.” Mission accomplished. It was weird watching Gretchen flirt with Tamra’s son and then bellow “TAMRAAA!”
Gretchen and her fiancé of 6 years, serial Housewife dater, Slade Smiley, welcomed their daughter Skylar Gray on July 10. The couple had battled infertility for a long time.
Just a few years ago, the Real Housewives of Orange County was one of the crown jewels in Bravo’s sprawling franchise. However, even the most diehard OC apologists can admit the show has suffered a major fall from grace in the last few years from its glory days of fake cancer and Irish bus rides from hell.
And in a new interview with HollywoodLife, Tamra Judge is finally acknowledging the rough years, and promising fans a major course correction during Season 14.
Braunwyn Windham-Burke may be a recent transplant to the OC from Miami, but it turns out that she’s more than a little well-connected to several past Orange County Housewives.
In a new interview, the Real Housewives of Orange County newbie opened up about her deep roots with one particular OG of the OC and picked which former ‘Wife she would want back on the show.
If you are a loyal viewer of Real Housewives of Orange County, you know Tamra Judge has no problems flapping her gums. Tamra never seems to have a storyline, per se, unless you count her
incredibly fake entrance into the World of Christianity or her husband’s medical issues. That means Tamra has to step it up in other departments, namely talking trash. No one would dispute Tamra’s ability to spread dirt and infringe on the lives of her co-stars, but what happens when it turns around and bites her in her very toned backside?
Just ask Jim Bellino, former husband of
Jesus Jugs Alexis Bellino and present Tamra opponent. Jim is on the long list of people Tamra has verbally spanked, and he is calling her on it. During a 2018 interview, Tamra and Shannon STORMS Beador commented on the closing of Jim’s Sky Zone trampoline parks. Jim accused both Tamra and Shannon of lying along with slandering his reputation. Wait, Jim had a reputation? Anyway, Jim lawyered up and took it to court. Now Tamra might find out her mouth has written a check her insurance company doesn’t want to cash.
Many reality stars naturally continue their friendships with castmates off camera. Like the sycophantic relationship between the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave. Or former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel helping frenemy Luann de Lesseps find her way to rehab #2.
On occasion, however, more confounding alliances pop up in the reality world. Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge, who has always been known to speak her mind, recently defended two reality stars most of us probably never imagined she had a connection to.
We are three episodes in to the Real Housewives of Orange County and the drama is already ramping up. On last week’s show, we watched demoted Vicki Gunvalson chasing Kelly Dodd around Tamra Judge’s house to try to talk out their differences. Or, more likely, to get extra screen time to try to regain her orange.
So far, the season looks to be more promising than the last few. I am liking newbie Braunwyn Windham-Burke, who seems interesting and grounded. We’ll see how long that lasts! Veteran Tamra’s storyline so far has been her new home–and shamelessly planting some seeds for future conflict between her sons Ryan Vieth and Spencer Barney. Of course, Tamra is all about pot-stirring–and creating drama by voicing her opinions on everything. Fortunately–or unfortunately–for viewers, Tamra is willing to do this both on and off the show.
During her press day promoting the show on August 8, Kelly Dodd spoke out regarding her broken friendships with her cast mates.
