RHOP Michael Darby Real Housewives Of Potomac

Candiace Dillard’s fabulous Real Housewives of Potomac wedding aired last week, but it’s time to move on. There’s plenty of drama on the horizon, and this week is Katie Rost’s return! Katie back in the fold assures viewers they are in for some crazy situations. Also, we get to see the next chapter in the never-ending Gizelle Bryant/Karen Huger frenemy saga.

Michael Darby’s sexual comments toward men will likely play a big part in the episode. His marriage with Ashley Darby is always clouded in mystery. Nobody knows what’s real with the two of them. The upcoming scandal is going to be very telling when it comes to the legitimacy of their relationship. I guess we’ll see!

Monique Samuels Thinks That Gizelle Bryant Accepting Her Apology Was “Very Random”

What is it about weddings that makes everyone want to make amends with someone they’ve wronged?  Is it the aura of love and good feelings?  Or the promise of new beginnings?  Or perhaps the result of too many drinks?  Whatever the reason there were a lot of olive branches going around at Candiace Dillard and Chris Bassett’s nuptials on the Real Housewives of Potomac.

Monique Samuels had to finesse her apology to Gizelle Bryant concerning the things she revealed about ex-boyfriend Sherman Douglas.  Monique wanted to speak to Sherman as well, but he had every intention of avoiding her and didn’t show up to the wedding.

Gizelle Bryant Thinks She “Was Just Really Wrong” About Sherman Douglas

The much-anticipated nuptials of Candiace Dillard and Chris Bassett was enough of an affair to get all the feuding Real Housewives of Potomac together.  The significant others showed up as well, and it seems that this group of partners get more involved in the drama than usual.  But one person who chose to stay away, was Gizelle Bryant’s now ex-boyfriend Sherman Douglas.

Gizelle tearfully revealed that Sherman decided not to accompany her to the wedding.  He made a habit of not showing up to notable events even last season, including Gizelle’s birthday party.  After previously professing his love to her on camera, Sherman left Gizelle understandably confused at his behavior.  She decided to attend the wedding and face the questions and gossip anyway.  Gizelle seemed so raw in her emotions that she even felt compelled to try and make amends with Karen Huger.  But now that Gizelle has had time to process all that happened, she is speaking about the breakup with objectivity.

Here’s what Gizelle said to Bravo’s Daily Dish about giving the relationship another chance.  “Sherman was very much calling me and trying to see me and spend time with me, which we did.  And at that point, I decided to really take it seriously.  We had broken up several times, so I’m like, ‘If we’re gonna do this, let’s do this right.’  So we started some counseling, and then it didn’t work out.”

Gizelle thinks she misjudged Sherman.  “And I really felt like he wanted us to be back together and wanted us to work had to there and I was wrong,” she said, “I was just really wrong.  So you live and you learn.  You can’t beat yourself up over it.”

So what is Gizelle looking for in a new man?  She said, “I think that’s the best thing because I really need somebody who’s gonna be there for me and be strong for me and handle all that I do.  I have a big life and a big world, and if you can’t handle it, then I need to move on.”

When asked how her daughters felt about the breakup, Gizelle responded, “yes they like Sherman, but they like their mommy more, so they really just want me to be happy.  And they realize if I’m not happy with Sherman, it’s fine.  You know, the right person will come along.”

Gizelle reveals that she has been dating.  She may or may not be involved with, “a little something something.  I’m taking things very slowly.  This is all baby steps for Gizelle.”

One thing is for sure, Gizelle will be a lot more cautious about introducing a new man to her costars, “they’re gonna meet him when I get married, on that day, on the wedding day, yes.”

All joking aside, Gizelle plans to be more guarded with her emotions, “No, it’s gonna be somebody that is obviously very serious.  You know what, I think I’m just gonna date whoever it is lightly, like light dating until I really know that it’s real.”

RHOP Candiace Dillard Real Housewives Of Potomac

Last week’s Real Housewives of Potomac season premiere set the stage for a drama-filled season. The cookie moment between Gizelle Bryant and Karen Huger was iconic. It’s so fun watching those two ladies try to outdo each other in the shade department. We also got that NASTY scene with Michael and Ashley Darby that our eyes can never unsee. We deserve a public apology for that moment.

The drama between Candiace Dillard and her mom looked like it might spoil her big day. Her mom simply did not want her half brother there. Last week they fought over the situation, but surely they won’t fight at the wedding right? Her mom is her own biggest fan, so she might want to put the spotlight on herself. I cannot wait for this roller coaster wedding episode with the entire cast present.

RHOP Candiace Dillard Real Housewives of Potomac

WHAT A SEASON THIS WILL BE. The Real Housewives of Potomac appear to be stepping up their game on a major level. Karen Huger’s line at the end of the season preview is the greatest thing I’ve ever heard. The situation surrounding Michael Darby is so bizarre, and Karen is calling it like it is. This is exactly the push this show needed to be on par with the others in the Real Housewives franchise.

Last season was so impressive for the Potomac ladies. We got THAT umbrella moment with Monique Samuels and Robyn Dixon. IT WAS ALMOST RIP ROBYN. Plus, we got to see Karen host the weirdest press conference in history to reveal nothing. Hopefully, this season is just as on point. It seems to be because Karen trying to use an oven is so hilarious. I love watching rich people struggle with basic household tasks. That will never not be funny to me.

I cannot wait to revisit old friends, Ashley Darby, Gizelle Bryant, and Karen Huger’s wig. Along with Monique Samuels’ growing family, will we see Robyn Dixon reprising her role as side-chick wife? And let’s not forget Candiace Dillard, is she finally supporting herself financially?

Will the group get along and become examples of proper etiquette and friendship? I hope not. These ladies love some juicy gossip and don’t mind keeping each other in check. Find out what we’ve missed and what’s in store for the RHOP “friends” this time around.

Potomac Housewife Candiace Dillard & Chris Bassett Are Married!

It’s officially official: Candiace Dillard is a Real Housewife. The Real Housewives of Potomac viewers are well-aware that she is a cast member on the show, but now she really is a wife.

After a whole season full of wedding planning drama, Candiace and longtime boyfriend Chris Bassett tied the knot on Saturday, August 11.

Candiace Dillard Wants To Leave One Real Housewives Of Potomac Star Off Of Her Wedding Guest List

The newest Real Housewives of Potomac cast member Candiace Dillard has been planning her wedding to Chris Bassett throughout the show’s current season.

Now that she has spent a lot of time with her fellow Housewives, which ones will actually make the cut when it comes to her wedding guest list? Apparently Candiace is still sorting that all out, but there is one Potomac Housewife that she is definitely not inviting.
