The Real Housewives of Orange County Recap: What Happens In Cabo…


The fourth episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County aired last night as Tamra Sue continued her televised attempts at sticking it to her ex Simon, you know, just incase he missed that whole soft-core porn scene from last week. Also, Vicki continued to make Tamra pay for her crimes from last season, while Gretchen once again ponders marrying Slade. All that was missing was Gretchen bringing up the princess comment again and this episode would have been complete with issues that no longer need to be revisited.

We start out with Tamra in a limo as she prepares to pick up Vicki for their Cabo trip. Tamra calls beau Eddie on the phone, who is probably still hung over from having to down a bottle of wine in other to get into the bathtub with her last week. Tamra reveals she feels a bit nervous about the trip due to the negative things she said about Vicki last season. Bravo pans back to some of that footage, and while I think Tamra is undoubtedly a two faced snake, I do feel she said most of what she said about Vicki in other to appease to her then hubby Simon, who of course hated Vicki.

The Real Housewives of OC Recap: Happy Wife? Happy Life?


The third episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County aired last night with what felt like a night of TMIs. From Gretchen’s sex talk about Slade to the marital nightmare between the Bellinos, ending with the Tamra soft-core bathtub scene with Eddie. With that said, let’s get right to the recap!

The episode beings with mogul Gretchen, who is clearly still harboring some resentment over Alexis‘s princess comment, as she dons a tiara to open the door for Alexis. For someone who claims to be very busy, Gretchen sure seems to have a lot of time to waste shopping for tiaras, and getting princess license plates. Perhaps this is why she needed an assistant. Alexis regrets the day she ever uttered the word princess, and following a brief chat, the ladies head out to do some shopping while I attempt to make sense of Alexis’s maxi dress.

The Real Housewives of Orange County Recap: Cut From The Same Cloth

The second episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County aired last night, and unlike the season premiere last week, last night was more on the somber side, but still good nonetheless. After all, we did get to meet new gun-toting housewife Peggy Tanous, who is anything but boring.

The episode began with a vomit inducing home scene between Gretchen and her deadbeat boyfriend/professional pipe layer Slade, as I still try to comprehend why Bravo would decide to open the show with this scene. A shirtless Slade goes to wake up Gretchen, who reminds us that she and Slade have been together for a year and a half. Vomit. But it gets better as Slade is now Gretchen’s employee who gets paid in the bedroom. Double vomit. Except Gretchen fails to mention the fact that Slade does get paid from being with her via a check from Bravo. Plus, can someone please inform Gretchen that the sexual jokes/innuendos are really not cute or funny, you know, considering she made the same jokes last season and again on WWHL last night. Though the more I think about it, the more I realize these two are perfect for one another as they are truly one of a kind.

It is now time for mogul Gretchen to have a meeting with her very own Sweetie aka her assistant Shawna. Shawna’s crime? Not having Gretchen’s back during Tamra’s get together last episode. It seems Gretchen is still peeved about the princess comment as she brings it up once again. At this point, Gretchen is without a doubt protesting too much. I mean we get it Gretchen! Between building your empire, humping Slade 24/7 and not taking care of him financially, you are very busy!

The Real Housewives of Orange County Recap: Gretchen vs Tamra

The first ladies of Bravo returned last night, and if there’s one thing we learned from the Real Housewives of Orange County, it is that six seasons into doing the show, the ladies have still got it! Feel free to replace “it” with drama.

The season kicked off with the new opening title sequences, and missing from Tamra‘s scene is Simon of course and their three kids together. As we reported, Simon has now refused to allow his kids to be filmed. Interesting how Jon Gosselin and Simon all of a sudden decide filming is detrimental to their kids when things are no longer going their way. The ridiculousness began right away with new housewife Peggy Tanous declaring — “Soccer moms drive mini vans but this girl drives a Bentley.” Those words are already coming back to bite Peggy in the tushy as she and her hubby have defaulted on their home loan. Eh, who needs a home when you have a shiny Bentley!

The show begins with “Free Bitch” Tamra sipping wine, going over her freedom papers, while also trying to make amends. Tamra decides to call up the girls including Vicki and Gretchen to invite them to a small get together. Vicki reveals she is still hurt over Tamra ‘stabbing her in the back’ last season, while Gretchen laughs her way through the phoniness. “You know I miss you, I do,” claims Tamra. Umm, no you don’t. Gretchen accepts the invite and Tamra blames her problems with Simon for causing the rift with her and her costars. Safe to assume Tamra’s strategy this season will be to blame all of her past behavior on Simon.
