The NYPost is reporting that Bethenny Frankel will be getting her own reality show on Bravo. The big shocker however is they are also reporting this means Bethenny will no longer be on The Real Housewives of New York City. Yikes! Will the show still be worth watching without her?
According to the Post, her show will be titled “Skinny & The City.” A source said, “The show will follow her planning her wedding to [fiancé] Jason Hoppy.” Her rep confirmed a while ago that the two would be getting married.
Life & Style also reports Frankel is penning a second book about “romance, money and friends” inspired by her feud a with co-star Kelly Bensimon. Bravo had “no comment.” A picture of Bethenny and Jason below -

Sorry but that will be one boring show. First off, she is a trainwreck……secondly she does not have good taste in men (I have heard strange things about this “fiance”……broke and not much going for him) and if they do make it to the altar I doubt the marriage will last.
Just because she married the first guy who asked the question does not make her any kind of expert on anything, what a joke.
Oh heck. Spin-offs are rarely good news, because they always sap the original hits. One of the things that has worked in Bethenny’s favor has been her limited amount of camera time as part of an ensemble cast on ‘The Real Housewives of New York City.’ She has a large personality that thrives better when contained.
And here I was, foolishly hoping that her new love life wouldn’t become the focus of her storyline on ‘RHoNYC’. Now it appears that she may no longer even be a part of the show. Hope that isn’t the case. Although I’ll certainly be giving her new show a chance, it will be with a bit of bitterness if she completely abandons the original that made her so popular.
As for Bethenny’s new book inspired by her feud with cast mate Kelly Bensimon, well it sounds downright intriguing, if a bit tongue-in-cheek. Kelly will probably see it as big win on her part– to have had such an impact on someone’s life that a book needs to be written to deal with it!
I agree with you guys. Bethenny was OK as part of a cast, but I can’t seen her holding down the fort for her own show. What’s the storyline again? Desperate woman finally gets a man to marry her. Desperate woman who’s lost weight spends her life pushing her diet book on the public in an attempt to get everyone to be a “Skinny Girl” like her.
Maybe Bethenny can pay for everyone to have implants, lipo and a personal trainer to accompany her diet book so we can all be “Skinny Girls” like her? After all, that’s how she did it.
1. Bethenny was engaged before. So this isn’t the first guy to propose.

No reason to watch RHNYC as Bethenny was the best part of the show for me! I am thrilled for her regarding leaving RHNYC, her Bestseller, her upcoming marriage and her new line of Skinnygirl drinks!
Regarding her book; it is working for me! I lost 10 pounds the first week. I recommend it. I am happy for her and wish her well in her endeavors and marriage.
I have no interest in watching or reading about Kelly. Maybe they will get some new women! Hope so and continued success to Bravo and the Franchise.
The first 10 lbs is water and easiest to lose. Any ‘diet’ can give you a head start like that. I give Frankel-Hoppy 10 months unless she gets herself pregnant, then I give the marriage 2 yrs.
Yawn, I won’t be watching any show with Bethanny, she is so transparent and boring with her old one liners.
Jill and Ramona make that show, they always will.
I agree I enjoy the 20 car pileup when she is with all the ladies This is a recipe for disaster. I am sure she cannot hold a whole show on her own. Yikes skinny margarita plugs and the new clothing line for skinny girls.lol. I cant watch that, unless something good and scandalous happens.lol. Get back with the girls and leave well enough alone Bethenny.

Who are these people? Is there any talent involved? I applaud Bethany for her tenacity in becoming a “celebrity” without any talent whatsoever. This will be her 3rd reality show ( the first was Donald Trump’s you’re fired show, or something), and now she’s on to her own. Her next book should be, “Have No Talent and Still Want to be a Star?” Next she’ll probably be on “Dancing with the Stars,” and then she and Melissa Rycroft can have their own version on Non-Celebrity View.”
