Bethenny Frankel is now confirming her definite return to Bravo’s hit show – The Real Housewives of New York City. She appeared on Watch What Happens a week ago and voiced her desire to return to the show.
“I’m definitely going to do the Housewives this season,” Bethenny confirmed to PEOPLE this week. “It’s been great … I love it. I understand we start filming [season 3] in September.”
Bethenny of course could not resist a chance to take a shot at rival, Kelly Bensimon, when asked if Kelly could rehabilitate her image on the new season. “Good luck with that. Am I helping? No.” said Bethenny. Gotta love her pure honesty.
The biggest news of all is Bethenny finally denied being engaged. We reported last week that she referred to her supposed fiance, Jason Hoppy, as her boyfriend. When asked by People, she denied being engaged but reaffirmed that they do plan on getting married one day. “You don’t see any ring,” she said.
Still not sure if it’s a good idea to keep publicly talking about your plan to marry someone who has yet to propose. That didn’t seem to work too well for Kim Kardashian but whatever floats Bethenny’s boat.
Publicity wheels are turning. Turning turning on the big wheel.lmao. I love how they spin the shiyat nowadays. It is unbelievable.
How is she going to be on the cover of engagement 101 if she is not getting engaged? weird.
Bethenny has been looking increasingly haggard in photographs lately, in my opinion. The first season she appeared to be glowing with health. Her face was full and absent of lines.
It was immediately evident upon her return the 2nd season that she’d lost a lot of weight during the filming hiatus. Her new figure was noticeable along with her thinner face, but she still looked smashing.
Judging from how she’s looking now, she has apparently continued to lose weight to the detriment of her face, which now appears sunken and hollowed. Her once-bright eyes more often than not look as though she spent the previous days partying hard. Her natural smile lines have deepened and increased in number far beyond the natural aging process. Of course, her perky perfectly rounded breasts are in direct opposition to the rest of her dwindling body.
It’s a shame that while in pursuit of the perfect size 0 or less figure, Bethenny has not taken care of her greatest asset, her unique face.
As for her ex fiance/boyfriend, the truth has yet to come out. I’m glad she’s returning for the 3rd season. Without Bethenny around, I was guessing that LuAnne would step in and become Kelly’s regular nemesis.
If Kelly comes off as flaky this next season, I hope she at least manages to make it appear that it’s by choice and design rather than unavoidable. Bethenny, Jill, and LuAnne went way overboard dumping on Kelly last season. (I refer mainly to the mean-girl couch at the reunion.) I think Bethenny and Kelly should go out on at least one double date together next season. Imagine what would happen when Kelly started flirting with Jason Hoppy while ignoring Bethenny. I’d like to see that.
After all of this build-up/hype, whatever she does… better be good.
@ FAULEIGH—-agree with you–Bethenny has been looking rough. On another site, everyone said her hair was way to long for her squarish face and it needed to be cut and redesigned by a professional. In fact, several comments were made on this. Remarks were made on her weight also, like you said, which make her mouth and head appear hugh.
If she dosen’t watch it, she will look worse than Kelly or Ramona and her rough face. What is it with these sad and pitiful women trying to find the eternal youth fountain? Don’t they know at age 60 and 70 they all will LOOK 60 and 70? And that all of us could give a flying fig? LOL..LOL..LOL.. They all are sad, except Alex. At least she has not fallen into that plastic surgery and botox box yet. With her and Simon, what you see is what you get, and they don’t care what people think about them. I love that!!
How pitiful is Bethenny pretending to be engaged for pubilicity? I hope we don’t go down THAT ” man ” road all next season again. My Lord, the woman is obsessed with men and family. She is miserable and needs therapy.
Kelly ‘ leather-faced- air-head ” needs to be ran off the road while jogging arrognantly down the middle of the street in New York. Maybe she will lose her way, and never return. How ” sophomoric ” of her!!
Ramona can keep her ” Mr.Magoo bug-eye’s ” open for Kel-lam-i-ty in Jersey somewhere and go with her while they shrill at each other. ” I’m higher than you, and you are lower than me, you frigging idiot.”
Jill is so full of herself now, you can’t even touch her. Even on the television screen. Nothing satisfy’s her, and she has to have bigger and better and fancier every day. You would think her daughter’s illness would bring her down a notch or so. To bad! I have never seen such a change in a person over a season, than Jill. Just like Kate Gosselin. Pretty soon, she will be the most hated if she keeps it up. She is NOT a celebrity. She is a reality star and housewife. Period. That is it. Come back to earth, Jill. The Gosselins are hated, and sick. Don’t fall into their pit of nastiness and greediness. That is where you are heading, and how you are acting.
LuAnne and that ridiculous title ” Countess “, is embarrassing not only to her, but her family as well. Every time she demands that someone refer to her as ” that silly title “, it makes the hair stand up on my neck and arms. The girls that I watch the show with, just scream out with laughter and mock her, then demand we all call each other ” Countess ” for a joke. What a sad and low self-esteem person in need of attention. I have never seen anything like it, except with Kelly who is evil AND an airhead who is on drugs or alcohol.
She could not even keep up her own house and laundry with 2 children while her maid was away. Now THAT, my friends, is extremely sad and I for one, would have had that edited out. It shows how stupid and ridiculous and under-educated she is.
Can’t wait until next season guys!!! At least we have stable and sensible Alex and Simon who are fun and never change. Alex is the smartest one in the bunch. Thank God for that!!!!
she’s so haggard and gross. and her boyfriend who she’s been “dating” since november was sleeping with a friend of mine from december until may when she cut him off and told him to leave her alone because she found out about bethenny. not to mention that he thinks she’s disgustingly skinny and old looking and wants to marry a girl in her twenties so that when he’s “ready to get married, she will still be able to have kids.” poor poor bethenny, talking about their so called engagement, when he’s just using her for the parties and the 15 minutes of fame.
