Kate Gosselin spent this weekend taping the pilot of her new talk show follwing her 3-day appeareance as a guest host on The View last week. Radaronline reports the Gosselin kids spent several days in the care of their nannies with Kate in New York and Jon Gosselin off doing whatever it is he does.
The pilot for her new TV show was taped in NYC at the Chelsea studio. According to RadarOnline, the show received thumbs-up reviews from everyone in the studio including her bosses.
Southern cooking expert Paula Deen, Rene Syler and Lee Woodruff have major roles on the show, which does not feature Kate as the star, but integrates her into the ensemble.
A source familiar with the taping told RadarOnline.com: “It went extremely well. Everyone there loved it. And Kate did great. There’s no question that she was a hit.”
Poor Paula Deen, Kate is gonna ruin her. I cant even believe that someone would put this woman on another TV show. Oh yeah, its all for her kids, the ones that are home with out parents. Well Jon lives in NYC why not drop the kids off with him and his 2 bedroom apt?
What is so fascinating about Kate Gosselin?
What is so fascinating is that she raised 9 children (including Jon) all by herself for a very long time. Kate should feel releived after getting rid of that jerk. She is a strong woman and that scares some people. I mean really can you see a woman w/Jon that is like “Oh baby u make decide what happens and I will go with it.” How many babysitters would get it then. What would that house have been like if she wasn’t organized and strong willed.
Kate Gosselin is now part of an ensemble talk show? Blow me over with a feather! When did this even happen? Skip a few days checking into ‘Reality Tea’ and look at what all I’ve missed. I’m going to have to review the old posts from the past few days.
What do you think Stephanie? Do you suppose Kate worked out a sweetheart deal that somehow includes the children in some way? And you’re right, mnm, she did raise NINE children. I bet Hollywood Jon is seething with jealousy. While he’s been out playing in front of the cameras, Kate must’ve been diligently and secretly working to get this kind of gig.
She probably sought her own show at first and had to settle to be part of an ensemble cast until she can prove herself. Since she’s essentially been calling the shots all these years with ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8′, it will be interesting to learn how she works with the other hosts.
