In a recent interview, Kim Zolciak explains the reason she missed her BFF Kandi Burruss’s concert performance during last Thursday’s episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
“My daughter Brienna was really sick that night,” says Kim, also claiming Kandi was aware that she wouldn’t be able to make it to the concert.
“She’s understanding,” Kim said. “I wouldn’t miss something like that especially after all the work she did on ‘Tardy for the Party.’ I wouldn’t just not show up.”
Since the producers didn’t explain the reason for Kim’s absence, it gave viewers the impression that Kim intentionally skipped the event.
Kim is also upset about Lisa comments of her possibly having a disease referring to Kim’s “cancer” scare during the first season reunion. “Who talks like that?” she said. “That’s so low! She’s a mother and a wife. That’s not funny. It’s a little too much for me. It’s one thing to make fun of somebody and make it cut but to really insult them…”
Not sure if I’m buying Kim’s excuse and claim that Kandi knew she would not be showing up, considering Kandi seemed to be looking for her after the performance.
It’s amazing how the kids become such convenient excuses, when they don’t want to be somewhere. “My daughter was sick”. “My son had a recital”. Suddenly they’re such attentive mothers, the rest of the time they could care less.
She explained all this in her Blog for Bravo,but nothing was mentioned about Kandi knowing about it that night,I don’t know where that came from.
Kandi couldn’t have known or she would have asked Lisa where Kim was.
Mary Jane, So true! This woman’s children are in school all day yet she needs a nanny? So the little time they are out of school they can be raised by a nanny rather than their unemployed, unbusy mother?
She is a joke as a mother. Looks like she pawns them off on anyone so she can go drink wine somewhere.
Seriously didn’t this happen like last Spring when they were flimimg? I’m sure Kim discussed this with Kandi and apologized.I’m sure Kandi is fine with whatever happened,she and Kim are friends she has said it many times in several interviews.
Her daughter’s name is Brielle, not Brienna.
Kim you apologized and Kandi accepted thats all that matters.You don’t have to explain anything to anybody.
Kim wouldn’t know the truth if it walked in and bitchslapped her.
