Slade Smiley took some time out of his very busy schedule to share with us his thoughts on the Real Housewives of Orange County. The blog, which has now been removed from Bravo’s website, was a no holds barrel in regards to Slade’s opinion on some of the OC ladies.
Slade, first appeared on Season One as the fiancé of original cast member Jo De La Rosa, he then briefly dated Lauri Waring, and is now dating Gretchen Rossi.
Some of the highlights from Slade’s rather long blog is below -
His Thoughts on Vicki Gunvalson – “For some reason, Gretchen seems to have a soft spot for Vicki [Gunvalson], which I do not share… But that’s what makes Gretchen such an amazing person. Vicki will probably continue to be the same rude, self-absorbed work-a-holic she has always been. It’s her superiority complex that gets the best of her. Vicki has some real balls to say I am whoring Gretchen out. No one has felt the need to talk about all her secret little hotel rendezvous, I suggest you keep your comments to yourself.”
His Thoughts on Tamra Barney - “This girl cannot mind her own business. Do you think Tamra ever once called to check in on G when Jeff was sick? Of course not! Does she care about all the BS being written because of her unwarranted comments? Nope. She knows exactly why it happened and she is actually involved with the tool bag who is behind it. What’s funny is she thinks none of us know what her and Simon are up to. News flash Tamra, we all know and it’s not going to be pretty for you when it all comes out. The world is on to your game honey and Karma is a b***h.”

I always find it disturbing for a man to gossip or express himself like most women do. Women have this cruel nature to talk about other’s too much and real men don’t. Whenever you find a man who gossips or finds the need to put women down like that you should run because he is suspect for being a very shady man. When I was dating pre marriage and if a guy would gossip or talk ill of other’s I cut it off quickly. It’s a sign the man is weak and uneducated……..and never to be trusted.
I find Slade very shady and really a disturbed man. The shot of him in the tanning was uncalled for and he is dating Gretchen for the money she got from Jeff(which she deserves to have Slade milk her) and he is dating her for the show air time. Gretchen is pretty but we get it Slade, you are a real peice of work. I don’t think he should be allowed to blog, I found it offensive that a man could come in and bash women. It’s unfair and almost crosses the line of bully since it comes from a man to a woman.
I’m thinking that someone in Orange County needs to call the OC Sheriff’s Dept in South County (949-770-6011) and report Slade Smiley for alleged Indecent Exposure in front of a minor – Lynn Curtin’s 16 year old daughter.

Gretchen has allowed this viper back into the lives of her co-stars and she, do doubt, is enjoying every tense and uncomfortable moment he’s causing them.
The lesson to be learned from his latest blog is: dare to talk nasty about ME or Gretchen and we’ll expose every piece of dirty laundry we know about you. Those currently siding with Gretchen had better hope they don’t piss her off, or she’ll sic Slade on them pronto.
Slade makes NYC’s Simon look like a highly moral and endearingly benevolent aristocrat.
Couldn’t agree with you more fauleigh. But I just have to add, Slade is a freakin’ idiot, who talks like a little girl, what an ass!
I agree that everyone should report Slade to the police for exposing himself. Even though that child’s sock provided ample coverage, it was still a shock to viewers to be exposed to a hermaphodite without proper warning.
I don’t watch the show enough to know why people hate Tamra, but I give her credit for having the balls to call Heckyl and Jeckyl out at every opportunity. Gretchen hates all women and isn’t capable of having any female friends. Who wants a slut like her as a friend? She used Slade to trash the only woman on the show who will have anything to do with her. Any woman who would have ANYTHING to do with a man who abandoned his dying child is just evil.
I’ve noticed that when she is in a defensive position with the other women about her slutty behavior, or when she’s crying to her momma about how people hate her, she has a slight smile on her face like she’s enjoying it. I find that really disturbing. H&J are true psychopaths.
Slade is a true pussy. Honestly, I think the guy has desires to be a woman with the way he acts and dresses.
What gives Slade any right to blog about the show anywhere? Why did Bravo give him access? He’s NOT a housewife (or is he?) and nothing he says or does is relevant. And how dare he say ANYTHING about Tamra not calling Gretchen when Jeff was sick? Slade isn’t worthy of making that kind of comment! Gretchen was busy shopping, going on vacations, screwing Jay, and drinking like a fish while Jeff was sick. Why should anyone call to see how she was doing when she was all over town and people could see what she was up to.
Gretchen will find out what Slade’s all about. As soon as Jeff’s money is gone, he’ll lose interest in her. Gretchen will know what it feels like to be used for her money, just like she used Jeff for his money. And I don’t want to hear her bitching about it, either. She bought the ticket, she can take the damned ride!
Gee, Slade. Maybe use some of that yard sale money to PAY FOR YOUR KID!!!
Watching him get a spay on tan while he wore a sock on his di*k made me want to gag. He thinks he is God’s gift to the world. Now I do agree with his blog comments from this article even though the dude’s a douche. Gretchen can do so much better. He is a man whore. He’s been around the block and then some.
Now the garage sale, was that really necessary? Why not just give all that stuff to the Salvation Army? Why be cheap about it to make an extra buck?
I think Slade makes Gretchen look bad and sleazy b/c that is how we all grew to know Slade from the past seasons. He totally took advantage of Lauri and Jo, lying to Jo that he was with Lauri and lying to Lauri that things were over with Jo. Now he hops on the bandwagon with the next hottest, youngest Housewives star. He makes me sick. Gretchen needs to move on.

Other male counterparts have Blogged on Bravo, why not Slade. He was spot on with most of his comments. I find it amusing and interesting that Bravo removed his Blog. We all know Slade earned the name Slimey. He has a right to Blog his opinions as much as the next person. Clearly someone/s had issues with his statements! The women all slam one another~another case of different rules for different people, so it seems. All rather weird and much ado about nothing. Lynne’s parenting style is a conundrum.
Not choosing sides here but….to those saying the police should be called on Mr Smiley for exposing himself in the company of a minor, Please remember the minor childs mother also exposed herself by removing her top in the spray booth. I just think these people live an alternate universe or something they’re all coo-coo.
Slade leaching off of Gretchen is fun to watch, but Bravo should not allow a scumbag like Sludge on TV. The simple fact Sludge has a dying child he does not attend to should make Bravo want to pull the plug on such a worm like sludge. God bless that child and hope he makes a full recovery.

I can’t stand Slade. He is a washed up old man who just wants a spot on TV…since he lost it the first time around b/c Jo was smart enough to leave him. He needs to mind his own business and not tell Lynne how to parent when he doesn’t even spend time with his own children and doesn’t pay child support. Loser. He is such a girl, he creates more drama between the housewives than the actual housewives do! Go away Gretchen and Slade. I want the old cast back. I hope Vicki doesn’t leave, she’s the only one left. I want Lauri and Jeana and Jo back. This season has the worst cast and everyone is just plain mean to each other. It is SO NEGATIVE!
