Despite their recent and constant denials of a split, it seems there is trouble in the Leakes paradise after all.
Audio of Greg Leakes, husband of Nene Leakes of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, was leaked on LargeFM.com yesterday, and Greg, who has since admitted it was him on the tape, can be heard viciously bashing his wife Nene.
According to theybf.com, Greg borrowed some money from one of the radio show hosts Corey King. The money helped Greg take he and Nene’s house out of foreclosure. Greg however began avoiding Corey when he couldn’t pay him back. This led to Corey calling Greg and secretly taping their convo out of revenge. The coversation was then leaked online yesterday.
In the phone conversation, Greg shares that he plans on divorcing Nene and that the Atlanta Housewives fame has gone to her head. “I put $300,000 of my own money for [NeNe] to become a housewife. Without that, she wouldn’t be sh*t . . . She’s going to give me every dime of my $300,000 back,” said an angry Greg.
It seems Greg also intends to get spousal support from Nene, who is now the breadwinner of the family, thanks to her Bravo income.
Greg also phoned in to Kandi Burruss’s internet radio show yesterday night, and admitted it was him on the tape. Theybf sources share that Nene heard the conversation yesterday and was livid. She’s apparently planning on beating Greg to the divorce filing.

When he refers to the $300k-he probably means the money she had to spend to look like an affluent housewife-the clothes, cars, big house, etc. How ironic that very few of these women on these shows have any money to speak of.

i liked nene the first season and then i didn’t because it seemed like the fame did get to her head and she started being overly dramatic and too into the drama thats what she gets
I agree with Skeptical viewer. The 300k was spent to act as if. Greg Leakes isn’t a real estate investor, he’s an average Joe. NYC is the only show that seems to have real money. To me, Jersey is in the same boat as Atlanta with the pretending. I highly doubt that running a banquet hall generates enough income for 3 families to have an uber-luxurious lifestyle lol
The only RHOA that has her OWN money is Kandi.

I know Gregg is basically a deadbeat and all but I like him. He always came off as the voice of reason in the Leach (NOT a typo) family and was able to bring NoNo (NOT a typo) back to earth.
Ugh! Real Housewives of Alanta was a favorite of mine. Now between Nene uber changes through plastic surgery, her fighting with Lisa, and now this divorce — well, that settles it for me.
I’m done with this show before it even airs.

Wow! That’s really sad. I like Greg and thought he and NeNe made a nice couple. He seemed like he really loved her, I guess she loved her five minutes of fame more…It makes you think if all of the rumors about her are true. When the season first started, I really liked NeNe, I thought she was the housewife that was the most real. These reality stars are taking this stuff to serious. It is only for our pleasure… I wish Greg all the best.
