On the heels of the recent messy Bachelor breakup comes news that Jillian Harris and fiance Ed Swiderski have also split up.
UsWeekly is breaking the story in their latest issue. And former Bachelorette star Jillian is confirming the news to the mag, “I love him and I’m really sad, but I have to look out for me,” says Jillian, 29.
Ed, 30, also talks to the mag, “We’re both kind of resetting. Jillian isn’t happy and I’m definitely sad about the whole thing, but we’ve got to work through some things on our own if we decide to move forward.”

This news isn’t exactly a shocker as it was revealed last August that Ed had two girlfriends back home in Chicago during his time on the show. Even more damaging was news that Ed had sex with one of the said girlfriend just days after proposing to Jillian. There have also been rumblings that despite moving in with Jillian, Ed had yet to curb his cheating ways.
“There’s bumps on the road, and we don’t always deal with them properly,” said Jillian to UsWeekly in early June. “Our life is not always perfect.”
UsWeekly promises to reveal the actual reason for the split in their latest issue.

No…not surprised….not in the least…and the next 20 shows they do, the couple will not last either….I think ABC jumped the shark with this show…I do not even watch ABC anymore after Lost ended…>sheds a tear<…
Just my 2 cents, but if I had to bet money on this relationship, I have him pegged as a narcisistic alcoholic who kept promising Jillian he “would change”. I think she is a sweet, smart woman, who thought she could change and tame him with her love, and finally realized she could not. He never quite looked like his smile reached his eyes in photos. Jillian will find someone worthy of her!!
Seriously people…look at her! She’s really a pretty woman and then look at Bobblehead Ed….could you imagine that bobbling over you in bed at night?
With so many failed relationships and a lack of racial diversity (yes, I am calling out ABC on their choice to only showcase Caucasian bachelors and bachelorettes, even though our nation is FULL of so many REAL eligible bachelors and bachelorettes from many different racial/ethnic backgrounds), I do believe it is time they do a MAJOR overhaul on the way they do this show, or simply quit. Until they meet people who are really interested in finding love and less on fame, focus on including several other individuals from diverse backgrounds (not just “token ones” for the initial selection process), this show will continue to lose its credibility. I remember that Moana (I think she was from season 3 or 4, can’t remember), really blew the whistle on how much they skewed the show from authenticity. Disappointing to say the least!
I was actually a little shocked – I really thought they were a stronger couple than that. It’s sad, but I respect the way they chose to deal with it. Very mature, unlike Jake and Vienna.
