They’re baaaack! Following their dramatic and highly rated second season, Basketball Wives returns to the VH1 network on May, 30 at 8/7c.
And judging from the newly released trailer posted below, the ladies pick right where they left off from the dramatic season 2 finale and reunion show. How dramatic? Let’s just say Evelyn and Royce get into a dramatic fist fight! There is also a new housewife in the mix this season as Meeka Claxton (pictured far right above) joins the cast. Meeka, co-owner of the Allure Realty Group, is married to former NBA player Speedy Claxton.
So what can we expect from Season 3? Well Shaunie O’Neal settles back into Miami determined to be drama free or leave the ladies alone while Evelyn Lozada makes the transition from a basketball wife to a football wife with fiancé Chad Ochocinco. The cameras will catch Jennier Williams finally leaving her husband and navigating a new lifestyle as a single lady.
With Royce Reed’s new larger than life attitude, viewers will see if there is enough room for involvement with Jen, Evelyn and Shaunie or if her attitude will take the spotlight. Left hurt and betrayed, Tami Roman works on rebuilding her trust for the ladies and moving on from the past.

Shaunie is a shit starter!!!!! She’s making money by having her “friends” have drama amongst themselves! True friend!!!!!
That is exactly what’s happening with this show Liz!!! At first I didn’t know that Shaunie was the exec producer of the show, and just thought she had more class and morals than the other girls. Turns out, she controls the show, and made herself look good, while allowing(and encouraging) her “friends” to make fools of themselves, for ratings and her own benefit. Do you really think Shaunie would really hang out with Evelyn, the uneducated ho for instance? I would be embarrassed to say I was her “friend”. So yes, Shaunie is using all those girls for her own financial gain.
I think evelyn is a ignorant bitch that needs to act her age… Shes gone meet that match adn when she does cameras are not gonna be able so save her trifln ass…….. This show should at some point have a positive view. All we see is bullshit & more bullshit!! Royce & Tami need to give that bitch a well earned ass whoopn. Damn thrown glasses and shit.
I just viewed the new premiere, Meeka is a gossiping fool. She already started off bad in Shaunie’s eyes.. and everyone knows if you start off bad with Shaunie, you’re pretty much finished within that “circle”. Jeniffer didn’t care too much for Meeka either.. Evelyn and her trifflin a$$ is at it again… I hope Tammi sues the daylights outta her even if Tammi has no recourse.
