Tamra Barney vs. Gretchen Rossi take 20.
Days after Gretchen sort of made a valid point called Tamra a hypocrite for her actions on the Real Housewives of Orange County, Tamra is now responding. In a new interview, Tamra refers to Gretchen as being “obsessed” with her and also makes reference to her legal issues and dead-beat boyfriend Slade Smiley.
“Gretchen’s constantly bashing me in interviews is nothing more than a clever diversion, created so the attention is not on the three lawsuits in which she is currently involved and the problems with her [boyfriend Slade's] past-due child support,” Tamra tells E! Online via an email she sent to them. “She has NO knowledge of the issues I had with Jeana [Keough], yet she constantly finds reasons to talk about me in interviews, on the show and on her Bravo blogs.”
Tamra continued, “She is nothing more than obsessed with me…You would think with all her legal problems, she would use her time more wisely. I truly feel sorry for her and hope that she lets go of the anger she has in her heart as I did for Jeana Keough.”
Ouch. Tamra also promises all of her drama with Gretchen will be addressed on the upcoming 2-part reunion show.
And speaking of Gretchen’s legal drama, she scored a small victory in court this week against her ex Jay Photoglou. A week after requesting a protective order to keep Jay from talking to the press about certain issues, Gretchen was granted most of it.
A judge granted a protective order which prohibits both Gretchen and Jay from discussing the “sexual history of either party, either party’s financial information,” plus home and cellular telephone numbers and home addresses. As we speculated last week, this order was likely requested by Gretchen to prevent her financial information from leaking to the press during a deposition. Gretchen was ordered to fork over $40,000 to Jay for his legal fees earlier this year and has yet to.
In fact Jay’s attorney Bryan Freedman confirms a deposition is indeed in the works. “Our next move is to take Rossi’s deposition within the next few weeks,” said Bryan.

Wow. I have to say, I dont understand ANYONE who would side with tamra. I have been watching this show since the beginning, and when gretchen first joined the show she was so nice to everyone and tamra was horrible to her! just because she was dating an older man, and is prettier and younger than her.
I HATE it when girls are jealous like that because people do that to me as well, and I can definitely say that people hate on those people just to make themselves feel better . She does it with Alexis as well, and anyone else she feels is prettier/more together than herself. Just an observation.
Also, Tamra spent years belittling gretchen and spreading horrible rumors, and I think that is just terrible. Her fiance DIED. If you think its okay to tease and make fun of someone who’s loved one just died, that just shows you that you aren’t a woman, or a lady. you are a b*tch who doesn’t care about anyone.
It sucks because I really wanted to like tamra, I feel like she is really funny and has her good points too but no one cares about those after awhile when all she does is make fun of people, be a terrible friend to everyone she knows, and then say other people are obsessed with her when she was the one who was obsessed in the first place! she is the one talking about gretchens legal troubles all the time and she used to talk to the press all the time about that crap, for years.

I’m sorry but I don’t completely understand your post- “those little shoe she was funny”- I have no idea what you are talking about or trying to say???? I don’t believe that she is a grandmother.
I’m not saying this to be mean, but I can’t respond fully to your post because it doesn’t make any sense to me. Your grammar and spelling are hard to follow, so all I got out of that post really was that you read Tamra (I think that is who you are referring to) might be a grandma. I don’t know because I am not Tamra, but I doubt she is a grandma only because Gretchen and Alexis would have brought that up & tried to throw it in Tamra’s face by now.

wow… this is has gotten ugly. This is a show to be entertained by, not take it to such personal level. I have learned early on that I can’t post about anyone I like from the show, because someone else will think I am that person. Again, it is a show to watch and if you really don’t like it, change the channel right away. It’s that simple.

It sounds silly and childish and shows an inability to have a rational discourse. They simply show themselves for who they are. There is never a need for posts to become personal but some people are just undereducated, unfortunately.

I’m not sure I understand…..I think the RHOC do read and in the past have been proven to post on these reality blogs..i.e. Tamra -absurdtosublime…ratted her out apparently for repeatedly posting numerous (obviously negative) comments about G back in 2009. It is totally possible that any one of them are here reading and posting comments. Not sure why that is so hard to believe. Most people and the American Justice system require a little something called ‘PROOF’ before making an accusation. I have seen numerous posters on here offended because they have been accused of being a housewife and the accusation simply isn’t true. Most people don’t enjoy or appreciate being falsely accused of anything. You perhaps might, there’s usually one in every crowd, LOL….

Doesn’t anyone feel sorry for sweet little Eddie? Poor guy has been under the evil Tamra spell. I know it will just be a matter of time before he wakes up and finds himself disgusted by her behavior. I hope he figures out that she hit her high point a couple years back. He deserves someone who has a kind heart and someone younger and prettier (though she won’t be tough to beat in those aspects) that he can START a family with. All that baggage must weigh heavy on any relationship!
I don’t feel sorry for eddie. He is using Tamara and good for him. Her evil is certainly showing on her face. She looks so old and it is because of her being so full of hate and envy.
They need to get some younger and more believable women on the show. I can’t think right now of the old hw (by old I mean age. she she is gross) that was married to Donn. What is her name anyway? Is her memory failing? Tamara treated her so badly last year and now they are all lovey dovey. They deserve each other.
