Jacqueline Laurita has been all over the news (well, the reality TV version of the news anyway) for her suspected firing from Real Housewives of New Jersey; but Jacs has something to say about that and she insists it’s simply not true!
Jacqueline took to Twitter (Where else?) to debunk the rumors claiming she is still deciding if she wants to return. “Thats not true.Its all undecided rght now but Im considering it if everythings in the rght place.Lets say theres talk right now.”
There’s been some rumors circulating from purported insiders that Jacqueline’s salary will be reduced if she is brought back for Season 5 and Bravo is basing her inclusion on whether or not they find a suitable Housewife to replace her. Jacqueline notoriously skipped the vengeful Season 3 reunion claiming she was feeling sick, which is a MAJOR no, no. Multiple reports have stated Bravo can no longer trust her, hence their reason for wanting to fire her. I guess we’ll see what happens!
Moving right along, Kathy Wakile recently did an interview with The Norton Report where she talked about her decision to come on the show and what’s next for her.
Explaining what motivated her to join RHONJ (besides the obvious), Kathy reveals: “I was at a point in my life where I wanted to do something outside of the house. I had been a stay-at-home mom for 17 years, my kids don’t need me as much, and it was at a time where they needed to realize I have to start doing some things on my own.”
“I thought, should I go out and get a job? And this opportunity just really fell into my lap at the same time,” she adds. “It really all fell at the right time, especially for my kids who are older and can handle being in the spotlight. It’s been a fun adventure.”
“I’ve had a lot of fun, I’ve done different things I wouldn’t normally be doing, interacting with new people and it’s just been a great experience so far.” I’m not sure how a huge, embarrassing family feud played out in a public arena is a great experience, but whatevs!
Kathy also talks about her role as a mediator amongst the cast: “Well, I’ve always been a good listener. I believe in order to be able to help people with conflict you really need to listen to what they’re saying. If you’re doing all the talking, you’re not getting all the facts. Being a good listener really is the number one component to being able to help.”
“I don’t like conflict so I like to create balance and try to understand everyone’s point of view. I always try never to hurt anyone’s feelings; we’re all imperfect so unfortunately that happens sometimes, but my intentions are always good.” For someone who doesn’t like conflict she sure got a raw deal with the family situation! Yikes.
Interesting that Kathy did not mention her cousin Teresa once during the interview! I hope these two truly are mending fences and building a stronger family relationship.
And since Kathy is now a member of the Bravo Home Shopping Network we can expect a whole host of products from the kitchen-savvy Housewife. Kathy lets us know that a prepared cocktail, a Goddess jewelry line and a dessert collection are all in the works. Ugh.
Finally, Christmas never ends for the Giudices! Teresa recently took to her website to post photos of her girl’s Christmas gifts. She thanks fans for giving her suggestions. It looks like a pretty modest Christmas for a family that has recently withdrawn their bankruptcy filing and agreed to repay their creditors the old fashioned way, with you know their own money.
“Thank you all for your suggestions on what to get my kids for Christmas! They didn’t really ask for anything and aren’t crazy for any fads right now, but I got them things that match what they’re into, and just girl stuff,” Teresa wrote.
“Audriana got a pink tricycle and a pink and white polka dot baby doll carriage. Milania got a little vanity with a make-up case. Since Gabriella is so into art, I got her an art table, one of those with the roll of paper attached to the side and art supplies. And Gia got a little laptop.”
Teresa also included an adorable picture of Gia dressed up like Santa Claus. “So every year someone in our family dresses up like Santa on Christmas Eve,” she explained. “You saw on the show that last year it was my mom.” All the photos of the Giudice Christmas activities are below.
In other news Melissa Gorga, currently in Miami to host a New Years Eve party, appears to have gotten some “work” done on her lips. In recent pics of the NJ housewife, her lips appear to me much fuller but we’ll let you be the judge! Those pics of Melissa, all from this month, are below!

It’s her Blog, so she wrote what she was doing for New Years, and made mention of how she feels about spending New Years with her kids. So what?
I guess I don’t look for all kinds of headaches about everything these ladies do and say on their blogs and twiitter. Yea, sometimes I feel they go over board ,( when they get nasty rt’ing, or twitter tantrums, or twitter fights) but it’s what they choose to do.
Teresa is not the only one that goes to twitter or blogs to respond to peoples question and crap. Why is it ok for them and not her?
Clearly Teresa has alot of time on her hands to focus on what her brother and Melissa are doing… Maybe she wanted to be in Miami too lol

Hi Franks, Lena and Italiano – I saw Teresa’s blogs. Loved the part where she mentions no other housewives and no drama. Of course there was no drama because there were no cameras. How stupid does she think we the viewers are? As for the dig about not leaving her kids – well she left and moved into Trump’s Hotel while filming. She really needs to edit herself because she not Super Mom just Super T. I noticed that she did not include too many photos of Joe’s brother’s family…mainly the other sister-in-law Sheila that is rumored to be joining the show.
Allabouttrh blog covered all the NJ housewives NYE parties and they looked like they all had a great time. I find that blog to be very positive site for Teresa fans and negative for Gorga/Wakile/Manzo/Laurita fans. Wow, there are many negative comments about them.

Teresa was talking about taking a job/ hosting on NYE.. Not any job, being away from her children, NYE, that SHE could never do it for any amount of money. That is just her. Her opinion. Geeze!

305Lena1 – Hi! True not NYE! Mel’s argument could be that she was working. Who knows who cares. Clearly, Teresa wanted to get a dig in to her sister-in-law. The greater issue is when will these two ladies stop and realize that their kids will grow up missing each other’s company.
The same can be said for Dina Manzo oh Zen one. Notice there was no mention as to her not spending NYE w/family. Dina is another one who is alienating her child from her cousins. Just my opinion of course.
BTW jac looked beautiful as usual in the laurita/manzo NYE party pics.
Lena I agree – big difference between being away from your kids while they’re in school and you’re less then an hour away filming a show/ working then to fly off to Miami to host a NYE party (that a porn star hosted the yr before hehe) while your kids are home from school (assuming Antonia is old enough to be in school) on winter break.

312cb – I agree Jacqueline looked especially beautiful and very happy. Hate to say this but Jac is so much more youthful and prettier than her daughter Ashlee. Jac’s little boys are adorable. The baby looks like a little ham. The videos of him dancing were too cute for words.
I agree Mel’s choice to leave her kids during Christmas vacation seems to be in poor judgement. Her blog was more about herself than her kids.
Anyone notice that Mel posted a Christmas photo of her kids sitting on the piano bench not their Christmas tree. I am guessing that she didn’t bother to decorate her castle – the video of Antonia dancing was at her sister’s house. I noticed that Mel tries to use her kids as props to her star life.
Oh wow I just saw Jac’s pics on AATeresa (Itlaiano lol! ) blog and WOW she looks hot! Love her dress and hair and she looks really thin. Good for her. Even Caroline looks nice. She’s got good skin. Lauren looks pretty too. Ashlee—–no comment. LOL
313cb – Dina tweeted that she stayed home. quiet eveing with her daughter and parents and some friends. One of her gay friends came over. She tweeted that her hubby felt the Brownstone/work to be home by midnight. No pictures tweeted though. He wants his privacy. LOL.
The Laurita parents ended up at the Brownstone later as Jac tweeted a video of them joining the party.

Yes, she and Joey hosted NYE night..But went down to Miami how many days before to party? Just saying if Teresa would have done this some people would be going crazy!
Dina spent part of the night with her parents, they were at her home early in the evening, then they( her parents) went to the Brownstone.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with working outside the home. I think we are all guilty of that. My problem with Melissa is she bragged about being a better mom, how she puts family first, and Teresa is all show. The first thing they did wrong was to not spend anytime with Joe’s family, then they take off for 5 days leaving 3 kids behind during the rest of the holidays and they thought it was an honor to do this ( these are Melissa words ). Then they go out and take a bunch of sleazy staged photo’s and post them on twitter, please give me a break. They remind me and plenty of others of Spencer and Heidi.

Did anyone see her tweets to Brad Rachel Zoe’s assistant about his new show? Wow, Dina is one piece of work. She tweeted one of her friends saying something about she hopes he didn’t do something nasty to get his own show. Never bought her holier than thy Zen Act.

321Lady T – Yes, Dina should worry about her own life. Albert Manzo can take time and spend with Caroline. They spend at least one day a week together. Caroline tweeted about taking a vacation w/Albert this week. Dina’s husband barely spends time with her. Notice how she tweets about date night like she has to prove to her fans he still exists.

Lolag-I agree Jac looks gorgeous and happy. I have to say she’s always been my favorite but she never blows me away with her outfits. This year however, she has got my vote for best dressed on NYE. Melissa is 2nd and Teresa is 3rd.

It seems Albert is spending more and more time with Caroline. Maybe he is backing away from the Brownstone little by little, kinda semi retiring ? He’s gotta be like middle 50′s no? In bussines 30 something years.. Maybe Tommy is taking over more of the duties? Anyway it’s nice that he is with Caroline a lot more it seems, especially since she hit 50.

Lady T – Clearly, the Brownstone party was amphed up last year for filming. Kathy Wakile responded to a tweet that they were invited to the Brownstone again this year but she opted to spend it at home w/her mom and sister.

Anyway she has her own show, and it’s been picked up for another season, so I guess she is doing ok.
