In Touch Weekly Editor Claims Teresa Giudice Made $6,500 From Magazine Apologies; Plus Employees Accuse Joe Gorga Of Unsafe Working Conditions!

Good Lord, I feel like we should rename this website Real Housewives of New Jersey Tea. I mean it’s no one’s fault, the peeps of Bravo’s craziest reality show are just that – crazy! And filled with drama – on screen and off!

Teresa Giudice recently appeared on the cover of In Touch Weekly apologizing to her co-stars for her actions over the last two seasons. Some of her co-stars were unwilling to accept said apologies, citing Teresa makes money from the magazines and therefore it wasn’t in earnest!

Well, The Huffington Post is now revealing that Teresa definitely received a paycheck from her public apology. An editor for In Touch confirmed Teresa was compensated for the notes.

“Why send a private letter when you can have In Touch deliver the news to everyone?,” the editor muses. The editor confirms Teresa wrote the notes herself – and hey, they were thrilled to run the story, so it was worth the money! “It’s so emotional to read that Teresa missed her friendship with Jacqueline [Laurita] and that she has nothing but love in her heart for Kathy [Wakile]. It’s a fantastic story that any magazine would love to have as an exclusive in exchange for only $6,500.”

Which is exactly why Caroline Manzo believes Teresa’s apology is completely insincere. “I have nothing to do with her and that’s my decision,” Caroline stated in response. Melissa Gorga is willing to give Teresa another shot because of their children.

She also wants viewers to reserve judgement until watching this entire season! “I think this season is cut and dry,” Melissa reveals. “You will see it. There’s nothing being hidden. It’s all laid out for you to make your own decision.”

Speaking of the Gorgas, Joe Gorga is now on the receiving end of some pretty serious allegations. Several of Joe’s former employees are speaking out and accusing the developer of building unsafe properties in exchange for undercutting costs!

One of Joe’s former employees, Joe Manno (is everyone in NJ named Joe?) told Star Magazine (via their print edition) that the developer is ignoring safety in order to cut costs – even telling employees to leave deadly black mold, lead paint, and cancer-causing asbestos dust in old factories he converted into apartment buildings.

“He is supposed to remove any kind of hazard before any construction begins. That’s the law,” Manno, a 25-year-veteran of the construction business, explains. “The whole building should have been gutted, but he just didn’t want to do it.”

Manno is worried that the unsafe building has put residents at risk. “I saw little kids running up and down the hall of one of the properties and I [thought to myself] these poor kids… they have no idea.” Manno’s concern for residents’ safety and health is why he, along with several other former employees, are speaking out.

“I’m not going to keep my mouth shut so guys like this can hurt people just to make a buck,” Manno adds.

Another former employee, John Prevete claims Joe G-to-the-orga, whom he calls “shady,” owes him $70,000. And Prevete accuses Joe of being broke! “No body showed up for work, because he’s broke!” He also claims the electricity was turned off after Joe didn’t pay the bill! What is it with these people and electric bills?!

Joe’s attorney, of course, denies the allegations, calling them “false and libelous.” Adding, “All of Mr. Gorga’s properties are environmentally safe and sound pursuant to all state and federal regulations.” Well, quite horrible allegations!
