LuAnn de Lesseps is a notorious know-it-all but there’s one subject she actually may have some authority on: reality TV and one’s marriage. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof recently announced she was separating from her husband of ten-years, Paul Nassif.
Well LuAnn, knowing from experience, warns Adrienne not to let a reality show interfere with her marriage or her family. I mean after all, one doesn’t want to become a disgraced discountess!
“Don’t let reality TV mess with your family,” the Real Housewives of New York star warns Adrienne. LuAnn has experienced her husband’s infidelity (and her own) becoming a show plot-line and she has also been involved in accusations against her teenaged daughter on the show.

“Don’t fall into the drama,” LuAnn adds, speaking to Celebuzz. “Keeping time with your family and husband is precious — not being on your computer or your cell phone, and always remember the things that are sacred.” Um… right so that was really heart-felt advice that she probably could given Adrienne over the phone.
Moving on, disgraced ex-reality star Alex McCord is not backing down from Bravo after they recently chastised her over RHONY vlogs.
“I appreciate the comments everybody has been making on the videos about the Real Housewives of New York City and I’m going to keep doing them!,” Alex recently said in a new vlog.
Husband Simon van Kempen got in on the publicity seeking supportive action. “Bravo you can’t put Alex in a corner,” he tells RumorFix.
Alex insists she has every right to produce the vlogs, regardless of the network claiming she is leaking insider secrets. Alex claims she has no “insider information” and all of her commentary comes from prior experience working with the network. “I’m watching the show just like anyone else is.”
“I stayed 100 percent away from filming,” she asserts. Adding that although she is in touch with some current cast members, “during the production period we all stayed away.”
Well, uhhh… good luck on your new career as a reality reporter, Alex. And don’t get in too many nasty fights with a major network.
Moving on, tonight is an all-new episode of RHONY. In tonight’s episode Pinot Singer decides paybacks a bitch as she invites all the women with the except of Heather Thomson to a dinner party. I’m sure Heather was devastated… Unfortunately the drama is well supplied by LuAnn and newly emerged nemesis Carole Radziwill after LuAnn slights her.
LuAnn also throws a holiday party where a drunk and lushy Sonja Morgan gets teary over LuAnn’s relationship woes and has some choice words for Jacques. Oh, and there will be some singing. Sadly.
Real Housewives of New York will be airing tonight at 9/10c. Reality Tea will be interrupting our Olympics viewing to live-tweet all the drama, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be wearing our Team USA gymnastics leotards in the comfort of our own home.
