Finally! In the middle of this quarantine, we have been blessed with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 10 trailer. Despite rumors that the season is “dull,” the trailer really delivers. There is a lot going on. Dorit Kemsley’s husband PK Kemsley remarks, “I hope it’s not over. I love drama.” Same here, PK. Same here.
The drama never ends in the 90210! After news broke that Denise Richards skipped filming for the Season 10 finale of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills last week, rumors have been swirling that the actress is finding herself at the center of drama and on the outs with the rest of her cast mates.
In the wake of the rumors, Lisa Rinna took to the comments section of the second-season Housewife’s latest social media post to stir the pot about her longtime pal’s mysterious no-show.
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, Adrienne Maloof was on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Mega-rich and formerly married to Dr. Paul Nassif, Adrienne lived across the street from another departed Beverly Hills castmate, Lisa Vanderpump. While on the show, fans watched Paul and Adrienne navigate their marriage through a series of thinly veiled insults and exasperated eye rolls. It was a surprise to no one when the couple eventually divorced.
In 2013, Adrienne either quit or got fired from RHOBH. If you ask Adrienne, she left because of Brandi Glanville. Brandi spilled some sacred beans regarding the birth of Adrienne’s children. Instead of arranging Brandi’s “disappearance”, Adrienne made herself disappear, which enraged
Big Daddy Andy Cohen. When Adrienne bailed on a reunion taping, Andy famously bailed on Adrienne. But she has gone onto bigger and better things. Over the years, Adrienne has lent her name to various charities and philanthropic efforts. Now she is tackling a worthy cause that puts fear into any parent sending their child to get an education. Adrienne is going after guns in our schools. Hell yes, let’s see what she can do.
Everybody gather ’round and send a hearty congratulations to Botched plastic surgeon, Paul Nassif! The doctor, formerly married to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, Adrienne Maloof, is giving happily ever after another try. When we first met Paul, he was
cowering in the corner usually on the receiving end of sarcastic quips from his then-spouse. Back in 2012, Paul and Adrienne’s union took a giant leap off a tall building. They had a fairly acrimonious divorce and engaged in their fair share of airing mutual dirty laundry. Fortunately the Bitter Bickersons did not take too long in resolving their issues, and their divorce was quickly finalized.
After his time on RHOBH ended, Paul and another former Housewives husband, Terry Dubrow, mutually worked on Botched. Over the years Terry would often make jabs at Paul’s single status, while Paul just made fun of Terry’s Botox habit. Now Terry will have to find something else to pick on because his BFF fell in love. You know what they say, first comes love, then comes marriage, will we see a little Paulie in a baby carriage?
Even though all of the full-time Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members are on the outs with Lisa Vanderpump, the end of her relationship with Kyle Richards stings the most. They were the two remaining OG cast members. Now, Kyle is the sole original remaining (as a full-time cast member, anyway), with Erika Jayne crowning her as the “queen” of the cast during the Season 9 reunion.
Many fans (adamantly) took sides in the Lisa vs. Kyle feud. Meanwhile, others wanted them to get back to the fun times they use to have
teaming up against other cast members. Reunion host and Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen is rooting for a reconciliation and he thinks he know what it will take for them to get back on good terms.
Remember when Taylor Armstrong was on Season 1 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? One, or rather two, things were obvious: Taylor had enormously plump lips, and she loved her cocktails. Her marriage to Russell Armstrong was a big storyline on early seasons, as well as the extravagant parties that the duo threw for their beloved daughter, Kennedy Armstrong.
In a shocking turn of events, Russell died of an apparent suicide on August 16, 2011. Russell was dealing with legal issues, such as several lawsuits and bankruptcy. Less than a month earlier, Taylor had filed for divorce. She also alleged that Russell physically and mentally abused her. This was a disturbingly dark period in Housewives history.
Watching all the family scenes on this season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills makes me nostalgic for one of my all-time favorite Housewife hubbies–Paul Nassif. The scenes between Paul and then-wife Adrienne Maloof were often entertaining–and uncomfortable–as they bickered over everything from child-rearing to romance to how to order food in a restaurant. All that arguing eventually led to an acrimonious split, with the couple announcing their divorce in 2012.
Since that time, Paul and Adrienne have mended fences and are now on good terms. Paul, of course, has gone on to star on Botched, with former Real Housewives of Orange County hubby Terry Dubrow. And now Paul has some good news in the romance department to announce–he was recently engaged!
