kim-zolciak-kandi-burruss-spinoffs

Last week the season premiere of Kim Zolciak's spinoff Don't Be Tardy had surprisingly decent ratings. And she cleaned up against Real Housewives of Atlanta nemesis Kandi Burruss

Unfortunately people may have reached side-boob and wig overdose, because Kim's ratings fell pretty dramatically for the third episode which aired this Tuesday!

Bravo Ratings shares that Kim's audience fell 28.5% from last week and only pulled about 900,000 viewers in the original 9:30pm EST airing. Even worse that's the lowest number of viewers any of Kim's spinoffs have ever had – including last year's Don't Be Tardy For The Wedding

Also taking another ratings hit is Kandi. The Kandi Factory is just not doing well with viewers! Which is interesting because Kandi remains one of the most popular Housewives in the entire franchise. This week Kandi's third episode pulled in only 460,000 viewers and dropped about 31% from last week!

Bravo has been working overtime to promote the show, even airing a repeat episode after the RHOA reunion this Sunday to boost viewing. Unfortuantely despite heavy promotion it's just not doing well. Bravo will be airing an episode this Sunday in an effort to capture some of the RHOA watchers and then airing another episode in the regularly scheduled Tuesday slot.

Bravo just doesn't have a good history with competition shows. Top Chef and Project Runway (the show aired on Bravo in its first four seasons) were the only two that did well for the network which has tried a bevy of different "competition" formats, including: Top Design, Top Stylist, The Fashion Show, and Platinum Hit, among others to try and tap into that audience.
