Kandi Burruss and former friend Kim Zolciak crossed paths during BravoCon 2025. Though the Real Housewives of Atlanta alums didn’t speak or reconnect properly, Kandi did note that Kim looked genuinely happy for her when she accepted her Wifetime Achievement Award at The Bravos. The former admitted that this gesture touched her heart.

Both Kandi and Kim are part of the OG Housewives club. However, the two have been at odds for years. In case you forgot, the reason for their former beef is their collaboration on Kim’s song Tardy for the Party. Kandi wanted more compensation for her contribution to the song, and it got pretty ugly from there.
That was way back in Season 2 of RHOA, and the girls have never been the same since. Then at BravoCon, Kandi admitted to seeing Kim shed tears in the audience when she accepted her award.
“I was touched, honestly,” Kandi told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. However, the two still haven’t reconnected officially.
“We haven’t talked since then. But I would have to say honestly, I was touched.”
Kandi also recognized, ahead of the release of the newest season of RHOA, that she, Kim, and all the RHOA alums have contributed so much to the franchise.
“I was shocked that she was so emotional, but, at the same time, you know, we all put into the franchise. I felt that it was very cool that we could all contribute to that moment.”
And while the two didn’t officially reconnect at BravoCon, Kandi has been open to the possibility of coming together in the future. Her daughter, Riley Burruss, further persuaded her because she is good friends with Kim’s daughter, Arianna Biermann.
