Real Housewives of New Jersey's Kim DePaola has been firm in her defense of BFF Teresa Giudice since the indictment scandal erupted last week, unlike her other cast mates who have chosen to keep their thoughts private (for the first time in their reality TV careers). .
Kim D. thinks the allegations against Teresa are crazy and far fetched. Kim tells her other BFF, Tom Murro, "I don’t think she’s capable of doing the things she's been charged with. I think there’s been a witch-hunt going on for a long time for her. In this country we are innocent till proven guilty !!! I love my friend and will stand by her!!"
I don't think I'd necessarily call it a witch hunt since the feds have been investigating Tre and Joe since 2001 – long before reality TV came knocking. It's pretty clear that Kim D. and Kim G. aren't seeing eye-to-eye on this one.

In other Kim D news, the RHONJ sidekick is picking up peace prizes in her spare time. Really.
Last Saturday Kim DePaola received the Peace Ambassador Award. Dr. Harvey Manes hosted his first American Peace Prize Gala which was held at his Westhampton Beach home.
The event honored Peace Prize ambassadors, recipients, and supporters. The Manes-American Peace Prize which was established by Dr. Manes five years ago, focuses on Americans who contribute to the promotion of peace between nations, races, religions, and people. Guests included the Suffolk County Crime Stoppers, Peace Prize recipient the Guardian Angels and Peace Ambassador Kim DePaola.
Dr. Manes announced, "This is America's answer to the Nobel Prize which has become politicized. I want to thank everyone for coming and supporting peace."
I know that Kim D. isn't to blame for the Posche brawls of RHONJ past, but clearly Dr. Manes has never attended a Posche bash. That said, congrats to Kim, the NJ sidekicks need a little limelight time, too!
