Kim DePaola Defends Teresa Giudice Against Fraud Indictment! Lawyer Involved In Indictment Calls The RHONJ Stars “Sleazy”!

They say a tough situation determines your friends from your enemies! I guess you could say Teresa Giudice has a real friend in Kim DePaola. Who woudda thunk it?!

In response to Teresa's recent indictment, Kim is defending her friend and fellow Real Housewives of New Jersey star. "Knowing Teresa as well as I know her, and I think I know her, I don't think she would ever willingly do any of this," Kim insists to Us Weekly.

Kim just doesn't think Teresa would knowingly take the risk! "She has four kids. I don't think she's capable of it. I think there's been a witch-hunt going on for a long time for her."

Rumor has it Teresa is setting up a defense that while she participated in what Joe Giudice was doing, she was pretty clueless about what she was signing, etc.

While Kim D is defending Teresa, one person definitely not: Monica Chacon. If you recall she's the attorney who was thrown out of Melissa Gorga's Happy Birthday Baby Jesus party a couple seasons ago. Her husband also sued Joe and she's a close friend of Kim G's.

Monica tells RadarOnline that she was part of the team that helped indict the Giudices. Um… OK. Do we believe her?

“The work we put in to make sure the judge recognized they were committing fraud ultimately resulted in them withdrawing their petition [and tipping off the feds],” Monica explains. “It’s been a long road. It does feel good."

Monica believes the Giudices are finally getting what they deserve. “Teresa and Joe’s true day of reckoning is yet to come. The federal case is still ongoing."

“But finally it feels like people are opening their eyes to the situation after so many years,” Monica says. “Little by little, the truth is starting to come out. They’re starting to show who they really are and what they are about.”

And what they're about, according to Monica, is shadiness galore! “Everybody around her knows they’re sleazy. I think that their fans must be from anywhere but New Jersey!”

Oh this fraud case… it's so sad, but I feel like Teresa is really going to be catapulted into bigtime stardom now. I have a sinking feeling that instead of this destroying her, the opposite will happen. Oh no…
