One thing you can definitely say about Kandi Burruss is that when the going gets tough, she keeps going! This year the Real Housewives of Atlanta star dealt with getting her much-anticipated spinoff The Kandi Factory canceled, suing former friend (and spinoff competition) Kim Zolciak, and now planning her wedding despite her mother's negative opinion.
Kandi admits it was the network's decision to cancel her show. "To be honest, we didn't really have a final conversation," Kandi tells Jasmine Brand. "They were like, 'Why did you tell people that it wasn't being re-upped?' They didn't tell me that but I kinda just assumed since we hadn't been talking about it. So I was like, 'I guess we're not doing it.'"

Speaking of spinoffs, Kandi says things are very up in the air about following in NeNe Leakes' footsteps and getting married on TV. "Right now we haven't made the decision to do that. For me it's not that great of an idea because it just adds pressure to a day that's already stressful."
"Plus, I have a lot of craziness going on in my family around the whole subject of me getting married, so I’m dealing with all of that," Kandi says referring to Mama Joyce's disapproval.
When asked about lessons she's learned from past relationships, Kandi confesses other exes have warned her about her mother's over-involvement! "One of my exes told me, 'If you don’t stop letting your mom controlling your relationships, then you’re never gonna be happy.' And then my current fiancée [Todd Tucker] just said the same thing."
Finally when asked if reality stars deserved a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Kandi laughed.
"I don't know about all that! Not just for being a reality star, you need to be doing something besides reality TV. With reality they're just being themselves but acting a little crazier."
