In a new interview with Life & Style the Basketball Wives star (who is rumored to have left the show) opens up about finding new love and re-emerging from a nightmare. “I had the worst 2012, I thought my life was over,” Evelyn confesses. “It happened so publicly, and then the passing of my brother-in-law."
However she now realizes everything happens for a reason. “But that entire incident [with Chad] led me to where I’m at now.” Now seven and a half months pregnant, she says love saved her. “I would say my broken bridge led me to happiness,” Evelyn shares. “If I had to do it again, I would because I truly feel complete right now in my life and I wouldn’t change it for anything.”

“He came into my life at a perfect time," Evelyn gushes of Carl. "Everything that happened makes me appreciate him 1,000 times more and he also makes me a better person."
And she readily admits she has been blessed. “I appreciate everything and I thank God every day for my life…I’m really lucky and really, really blessed.”
Evelyn, who is reportedly due in May, cannot wait to see the differences between a daughter and a son. Her daughter is Shaniece is 20. "He’s going to give me a run for my money! I’m like, ‘Oh my God, he’s going to want to play and get dirty,’” Evelyn acknowledges. “I’m just looking forward to all these amazing things that come with having a boy and a baby.”
And another lesson Evelyn has learned from her failed marriage that she hopes to pass on to her son: “I just want him to love and respect all women.”
Well, good luck Evelyn! Can't wait to hear all about it on your spinoff which I'm sure is coming soon.
