Andy Cohenâs eternal love for Real Housewives of New Yorkâs prodigal daughter, Bethenny Frankel, is well known. What has come under scrutiny of late, though, is just how much his affinity for the Skinnygirl mogul may influence how she appears â or how she wants to appear â on RHONY. According to Page Six, some RHONY castmates have been complaining that Bethenny may have âeditorial approvalâ over episodes before they air, an allegation which Andy denies.Â
At the recent W Hotels Turn It Up for Change party, Andy told Page Six that Bethenny truly has âno warningâ before episodes air, even when she looks âlike a beast.â When asked directly what kind of âheads upâ Bethenny may get before episodes are released, Andy answered, âShe has none,â adding, âAs a matter of fact, she gets the episode when everyone else does.â To hammer the point home, Andy further explained, âWe send the âHousewivesâ the episodes the week before. She has absolutely no say.âÂ

Adding that he doesnât play favorites (sure, sureâŚ), Andy divulged, âIâve said to [Bethenny] this season, âOh, youâre not going to like x, y or z. You look like a beast! But she has nothing to do with editing, she has no knowledge of whatâs going to be in the episodes, she has no warning.â
As for rumors that housewives over the years have cozied up to Andy to gain control over their portrayal on the franchise, Andy flatly states, âTrust me, there are times, not from her but from certain âHousewives,â saying, âPlease can you change this?â And they know we never change the episodes. They are as they are.â
TELL US: DO YOU THINK THERE IS ANY TRUTH TO THE RUMORS THAT BETHENNY AND ANDY ARE IN CAHOOTS REGARDING HER IMAGE ON RHONY?Â
