Now, Nick will be the star of the next season of The Bachelor. Nick went from being a villain on his two seasons of The Bachelorette, to the likable voice of reason on Bachelor in Paradise.
Nick has been through it all with the Bachelor Nation fans and now he’s about to join the one show in the Bachelor franchise he hasn’t been a part of. Finally.

Everyone was sure that JoJo Fletcher’s fourth place suitor – Luke Pell – was going to be the next Bachelor, so it was shocking when Nick walked in during the live announcement on Bachelor in Paradise’s aptly titled post show called After Paradise.
In an interview with People, Nick joked about being on a fourth Bachelor show when he quipped, “I certainly have the practice.”
As a viewer of the show and a fan of Nick, I could not be more pumped about this news.
It was tough seeing Nick fall in love with Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe, getting ready to propose, and then getting dumped on national TV. He also did not fare too well with the women on Bachelor in Paradise this year.
Nick also said, “I don’t know if anything really prepares you for it. … I’ve had an interesting journey throughout this process – it hasn’t worked out so far, and hopefully this time around maybe things will end up on a more positive note.”
I am hoping this all works out for Nick, and so is he, “I can’t be more excited about the possibility of it actually all working out.”
Whether you like Nick or not, he was definitely the most exciting option out of the other choices that were honestly pretty bland.
Congratulations to Nick! Hopefully he can finally find love this season since he is taking the reigns!
