The Bravo network really is the gift that keeps on going. No one is more aware of that than the king of Bravo himself, Andy Cohen, who blessed us all with an amazing, holiday themed episode of Watch What Happens Live.
Andy dubbed the night 12 Doorbells of Christmas. The guests were everything – for the most part. I won’t point out who I wasn’t as excited to see (since it should be pretty obvious), but I can’t help getting pumped for any Bravolebrity if I’m being honest.
Kim isn’t sure if she wants to be pregnant again, per se – after all, she’s become the queen of the sexy mom-bod selfies – so she’s also considering foster care (!!!!!!). Of what – wigs? Kim admits she’s been “bothering Kroy” about expanding their brood again. Kim wants it and Kim wants it noooow! “I love babies! They do grow up. I love being a mom and my pregnancies were always great and easy. Either that or I told him we’re going to do foster.”
After years of being the odd one out on Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kenya Moore finally found some compassion from the cast when she was grieving the loss of her grandmother, the only mother figure she’s ever known. As soon as Kenya left the cast trip to San Francisco to be with her family, she became the topic of conversation among the cast.
Leave it to Marlo Hampton to stir shit up bring up Kenya’s marriage and field the group for their opinions about whether not she is actually married. Kenya’s closest friend in the cast, Cynthia Bailey, was visibly uncomfortable with the gossip and she walked out of the dinner.
Obviously Porsha has to resort to do something to save her spot on this show, but the woman who spread date rape rumors last season is the last person who should be starting drama. NeNe doesn’t seem to care though. Yes, she did yell at Porsha during the cast trip to San Francisco, but that’s just NeNe.
Cynthia reflects on why she felt compelled to comfort Porsha on the trolley in San Fran, even if she didn’t quite understand what her tears were all about. She explains, “It was on my heart to have a one on one with Porsha on the trolley in San Francisco because I felt compelled to try to help her get to a place of being open to listening and receiving some of the issues that some of the ladies were having with her, and not be defensive or feel attacked.”
The friendship between Cynthia Baileyand Kenya Moore has come a long way since Kenya critiqued some model’s “coochie crack” at a casting session for the Bailey Agency during her first season on Real Housewives of Atlanta. These two did not hit it off immediately, but then they became very close friends- not “best friends” as Cynthia pointed out during the cast trip to Puerto Rico, but good friends.
Now Cynthia is sticking up for Kenya more than she ever has and she even walked out of the room when Marlo Hamptonstarted to question the validity of Kenya’s marriage. Cynthia explained why she got so emotional during that cast trip and more during her latest appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
On last night’s Real Housewives Of Atlantamost of the ladies shocked me by putting on their big girl panties and behaving like actual adults. It was like visiting the Twilight Zone with the elegant, sophisticated ladies of Sheree Whitfield‘s dreams.
Porsha Williams finally learned the meaning of the word “accountability” and Cynthia Bailey realized if there’s one thing she discovered in her disastrous co-dependency with NeNe Leakes it’s to honor the friend contracts of her heart. Also, Marlo Hampton may have the best wardrobe, but she and her cat eye glasses are as messy as a litter box and need to be dumped!
You know what I despise about Housewives, how they’ll be in a gorgeous restaurant, all dressed up, then ruin it before the food even arrives! NeNe thinks Porsha deserves to be punished for what she did to NeNeKandi Burruss. And that punishment is THE DOOR IS CLOSED.
Before we head into another dramatic episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Porsha Williams shares her two cents on her issues with NeNe Leakes. Porsha says she’s trying her hardest to maintain her composure and reveals her desire to keep the door open to a future friendship with NeNe.
On her dinner disaster with NeNe Leakes, she says she wasn’t shocked that things escalated so quickly between them. “NeNe was mad at me at Cynthia’s party, and I was bothered by that Watch What Happens Live clip. I knew we had to still talk things through, so of course, seeing that she had brought Marlo for back up, it was a sure sign she was going to try to show out! The whole time that I was listening to her and defending myself, I just kept thinking that all she had to do was tell the truth. ‘Yes, I said it, and I hate that it made you feel that way.’ That’s literally all she had to say.”
