The Bachelorette finale does not air until 2 more weeks but we have some major spoilers here for you! Including the big rumor that Ed had a girlfriend during the show.
Stop reading now if you do not want to know what happens. Majority of this information comes from RealitySteve. This is the same guy that revealed what would happen with Jason Mesnick and Melissa Rycroft on The Bachelor earlier this year. He was 100% accurate then, so there’s a good chance he is with this info as well. Enjoy the spoilers below –
The last episode of The Bachelorette ended with Jillian Harris tearfully sending Reid home. Jillian was very emotional about her choice and is calling the decision “heart wrenching” in her new blog. Reid was seen by a lot of fans as being the favorite, so this choice came as a surprise to most.
What Jillian doesn’t touch on was the problems that she supposedly experienced in the bedroom with Ed. The implication from last night’s show was that Ed couldn’t rise up to the occasion, but fans of the show suspect the producers of the show might have staged the whole thing to throw us off. The rumor is Ed might be the winner with Kiptyn being the new bachelor. I honestly have no idea. It will be interesting to watch it all unfold.
Jillian however touches on her very steamy date with Ed. The Bachelor(ette) shows seem to be focused on pushing the envelope nowadays. These shows are getting more and more trashier by the minute. It seems they are trying to keep up with the VH1 dating shows.
The steamy massages with Ed and Jillian wasn’t that bad in my opinion. However the implications that Ed couldn’t get it up in the bedroom was a bit much and unnecessary for the viewers. They could have left out that storyline.
Excerpts from Jillian’s blog about this week’s episode is below -
It’s a little harder to write my blog now that there is less fun, juicy gossip and more deep, heartfelt feelings. How do you put this into words? This week was a hard one to watch — that heart-wrenching goodbye with Reid, the close-to-inappropriate steamy scene with Ed, (um, did that almost top my hot tub scene!? Yikes!) and me almost barfing on myself on that totem pole with Kiptyn! I have to admit that a lot of feelings came rushing back when I watched the episode this week.
Reid’s date was very bitterSWEET (I capped the sweet because it was more sweet than bitter). See, Reid and I had a very good energy together. When we were together, it was like an old high school crush. We rarely worried about the specifics and were always just so flighty together. What you didn’t see was that we actually got a couples’ massage on the beach before dinner. Soooo romantic! I highly recommend it (if you happen to be slumming around the beaches of Maui looking for something to do)!
So, that feeling that I have been looking for was definitely there with Reid, but the promise of any sort of commitment or partnership wasn’t there. And because I have been hurt before by not being realistic, it made me put up a wall and inevitably led to me letting Reid go. I will have to agree with Chris in saying this had to be the most emotional goodbye in Bachelorette history.
Now Ed’s date. I definitely have to say Ed and I fit A LOT into that day — the catamaran ride, cliff jumping and swimming in the ocean, but the best part of the date was not something I had planned … it was Ed’s surprise. I was SHOCKED when he told me he brought his parents to Hawaii. I had been hearing about this Judy for so long, she became sort of a legend to me. I am positive I was more nervous than she was. And how about Ed’s dad and his classic quote “What the hell are we doing here?” That was another belly laugh moment. After all the hometown dates, I will have to say this was definitely one of my favorites. So real.
Again, I have to say that this episode tugged on the heartstrings. I have been blessed with these three individuals who are not only bright, genuine, charismatic, gorgeous and down to earth — but who respect me and adore me. I can now say with 100 percent conviction that it is possible to fall for more than one person when you are presented with individuals of this caliber.
Jillian Harris is down to her final 3 men since eliminatingWes the jerk. Tonight will include romantic dates with each of the men left. Below is a sneak peek of what is to come. Plus we finally get to find which bachelor it is that had a hard time being romantic with her, pun intented.
The three men left include Kiptyn, Ed, and Reid. Check it out!
TELL US – WHO DO YOU THINK WILL MAKE THE BEST PICK FOR JILLIAN?
Wes Hayden from The Bachelorette is in overtime, trying to clear up his “good” name. Wes spoke out to a Texas radio station this week and claims he is not the jerk the show made him out to be. Wes claims to be a victim of deceptive, and false editing.
On whether or not he had a girlfriend - “I had a girlfriend last summer. She’s still a very good friend of mine. Every now and then we’ll go out and do lunch or something like that. I mean, I did some work for her mom, I’m good friends with her family,” Wes Hayden said.
“I just called [The Bachelorette producers] two weeks ago, and was like, ‘Look. I don’t care what y’all do to me. You can say I’m the worst guy in the world and I’m here for publicity, that I’ve got a girlfriend. But don’t mention anybody’s name. As soon as you mention her name, people in Austin are going to know her, because we dated for a long time. Sure enough, they mentioned her name the very next day.”
On his limo comments in his exit interview - You know the one where he says, “I’m the only guy in The Bachelorette history who’s made it to the top four with a girlfriend.” Wes claims they were taken out of context. “They don’t play what I say after that. I said, ‘Only guy in Bachelorette history to make it to the top four with a girlfriend. Get real, dude. If I had a girlfriend, I’d be home with her right now, and I wouldn’t be putting up with this $h!t.”
Wes words of wisdom to those wanting to be on Reality TV - “I think everybody needs to remember that this is a TV show, and it’s here for ratings. If anybody wants to go on any kind of reality show they really need to consider what could happen to them, and think about it long and hard.” He continued, “If you do go on, don’t say a whole lot, because they can pretty much do whatever they want. Basically when you sign up for a show like this you pretty much relinquish every right that you have.”
Not sure if I’m buying Wes’s excuses. Yes I believe the producers of the show can and do manipulate the things these contestants say, but Wes gave them a lot to work with. I doubt Tanner P and Jake made up the GF story out of the blue. He has no choice but to try to clean things up now for the sake of his “career.”
The Bachelorette’sJillian Harris finally did what everyone had been wanting for the past couple of weeks – Sent Wes Home! Jillian speaks out on the whole Wes issue in her new blog about the show. She admits she kept Wes for “way too long.” For some strange reason, she still doubts Wes actually had a girlfriend – sighs.
“So … Wes! I know I kept him for WAY too long. I FULLY admit this. Someone on here wrote the truest way to explain it — it’s like you’re watching a horror movie that you starred in … And all your friends are yelling at you, “He’s behind you! He’s behind you!” Ha. There are so many ways to explain my connection with Wes. I cringe to admit this, but I truly was blinded by many of Wes’s “good qualities” for the better half of his stay that I refused to see all the red flags (and there were a lot of them!).
I still don’t know if Wes had a girlfriend, but I do think Wes was there for his career. Along the way, we did build a friendship but his presence on the show was a disservice to both of us. It made me look like a fool and like I had bad judge of character, and it made him look like someone he is not. I guess this is what you lay out on the line when you sign up for something like this, right? Ultimately, you are all still entitled to your opinion, but I am a huge supporter of forgiveness and I hope you can give Wes a break and lay this one to rest.”
It’s good to see her admit her bad choice. I am however surprised she still doubts he had a girlfriend. Wes’s “girlfriend” Laurel Kagayspoke out last week defending Wes and claiming they were just friends.
Jake also spoke out on the issue and even said Wes and Laurel are still dating. I still choose to believe Jake on this one. Someone needs to tell Wes that he can pretty much kiss his country music career goodbye. No one is going so support a jerk. He has officially taken the crown of the biggest jerk title from Jason Mesnick.
The Bachelorette’s Jake Pavelka is swinging back at Wes and his “girlfriend” Laurel. We posted a story yesterday with Laurel coming to Wes’s defense, claiming she was not dating Wes during the show, and is currently not dating him. I said yesterday that I wasn’t buying her story, and well Jake seems to agree.
Jake spoke to People today, and says he stands by his story of Wes dating Laurel during filming. Not only that, Jake goes on to say Wes and Laurel are still together! Jake claims they are both in cahoots with duping Jillian Harris. Some excerpts from this interview are below -
Why did you come back?
A producer called me to see if I was doing okay because I took leaving hard and I broke down. [I said,] “I need to tell her some things. Any way I could talk to her again?” I ran through it and they made it happen. I was lying in bed every morning going, “I screwed up. I should have told her before I left.” I wanted to come back because I had information she needed to make the best decisions about the remaining guys and to be there for her. Now I sleep easy at night.
PEOPLE spoke to Laurel and she denied being together during taping. Do you stand by what you claimed, that Wes said he had a girlfriend?
I don’t believe it. I know it. Without a shadow of a doubt, he and Laurel were together. They’re still together. It’s an act and Laurel was in cahoots with him. They had an agreement to put their relationship on the back-burner so he could go on and sell CDs. His biggest fear was making it far enough to go on overnight dates because that wasn’t okay with Laurel. Evidently she cleared [him] to kiss. I’m a God-fearing man and if I am mistaken or he didn’t tell me that, God can strike me down with lightning right now.
Are you there?
Yeah. Still here! We had multiple conversations. He confided with me. He told me he loved [Laurel]. He said, “I’m going to break her heart. I’m going to bow out when the time is right.” This stuff came out of his mouth.
It now seems the whole Wes girlfriend mystery has finally been solved or has it? Coming out in Wes’s defense today is the alleged girlfriend mentioned on this week’s episode of The Bachelorette.
Laurel Kagay spoke out to People claimingJillian Harris has nothing to worry about when it comes to Wes two timing her. Laurel claims to have been in shock when she heared her name mentioned during the last episode. “I was like, ‘What?’” Laurel, 29, states. “There was this pause before he said my name — and then he said it quite a few times.”
Laurel, owner of Peach Body Boutique in Austin, Tex., however insists she and Wes are just friends: “I’m absolutely not with Wes, nor would I be if he were going on a show to be with another girl,” she says. “That’s absolutely crazy.”
So why did both Jake and Tanner mention Wes having a girlfriend? “And I think Wes did say something about his ex-girlfriend. Maybe he said he still cares about me or whatever. Maybe he talked a little too much about me, and Jake just blew that into something else.” However, Laurel admits, “We are really good friends and we do go out to lunch together, so I could see how people could think we’re together.” Not sure I’m buying this.
Oh but there’s more to Laurel. She has had her fair share of Bachelors as she is also linked to another famous name in The Bachelor franchise – Brad Womack, you know the bachelor who chose no one on his season finale. According to Laurel, they dated for four years.
She has also dated Collin Evans, who was briefly a contender on The Bachelorette season starring Jen Schefft.
I’m not buying this whole we were just friends thing. Wes seems like the slimey type and I think Jillian should have sent him packing. I believe Jake on this one and do believe Wes came on the show only for the fame because he actually admitted to that on a past episode. So I do not doubt for one second that he was dating this Laurel person while pretending to be there for Jillian. This seems to be his lame attempt to save his so called career as a country singer.
TELL US – DO YOU THINK JILLIAN SHOULD HAVE SENT WES PACKING?
Jillian Harris continues her search for true love tonight on The Bachelorette, as she continues to “date” the remaining 13 bachelors. I haven’t been blogging much about this show though I have been watching. Not sure if it has to do with the bad taste the whole Jason Mesnick/Melissa Rycroftfiasco left in my mouth, but this season hasn’t been as interesting to me.
While Jillian’s season has been a tad boring, the guys have yet to disappoint. Plus we finally get to find out tonight that one of the men actually has a girlfriend. Something about this reminds me of a VH1 dating show, so tonight’s episode should be GOOD.
And let’s not forget the very creepy bachelors casted for Jillian -
We’ll start with foot fetish enthusiast Tanner P. I mean wow – does he not see how extremely creepy he comes across? More importantly, how can Jillian not send this creeper packing? All he talks about is “sucking on some toes.” Does he even know what Jillian looks like? because he seems to solely (pun intended) focus on her feet during all their one on ones. Something tells me he is on some city’s sex offender registry.
And next we have David, who is in dire need of some form of anger management/therapy. The only thing that stands out about him is his loud mouth and multiple tattoos. He seems way more concerned with Juan than he is with Jillian. Still not sure why he made it his mission to bring down Juan.
Finally, we have 35 years old Juan, who is the most hated guy in the house. Are the guys simply jealous of him or do they have a valid reason for hating him? I’m not sure I know the answer to this, as these reality shows are able to get creative with the editing. From what I have seen, I don’t see any valid reason they have to hate him.
Recently eliminated contestant, Sasha touches on this topic in his new interview below -
On Juan, the Most Hated Man in the House: “The whole house was against him. It was like instantaneous. Everyone was on it, but David just hates the guy. He’s like, ‘He’s a snake. He’s this he’s that.’ He will bury himself. Everyone thought Juan was a spy, working for the show. He’ll kind of alienate himself, and then when he needs to be in the picture, he’ll look like he’s just one of the guys hanging out when in reality he wasn’t doing any of that.”
On David’s Anger Issues: “His dad had three heart attacks [by age] 50, so it just runs in the family. Some things just bug you. Dave just has a personal mission to almost destroy [Juan] and just make sure he doesn’t move forward in the process. Obviously, there are some anger-management issues going on.”
