In a new interview with HDNet’s Naughty But Nice, the 31-year-old Holly World’s star reveals she will not be attending Hugh’s wedding, that is if she’s even invited.
“I feel like the attention should be on them,” said Holly pictured above on Feb. 6. “It shouldn’t be about ex-girlfriends showing up and what are their reactions and stuff like that. I think it should be about them.”
Holly also let it slip that a wedding between Hugh and Crystal might be happening much sooner that we imagined, as in this summer. Holly reveals that if she doesn’t go, “It’s probably because I have a show in Vegas.”
And when it comes to her early January meeting with the two, which was a taped segment for her hit E! show, Holly admits the encounter was “definitely awkward.”
“I don’t really know her,” adds Holly. “I’m just really protective and want to make sure he’s making the right choices.”
TELL US – SHOULD HOLLY ATTEND THE WEDDING? OR IS SHE MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICE NOT TO?
Holly Madison is insisting she is not jealous of ex-beau Hugh Hefner’s engagement despite her recent comments to the media, you know, the ones which include statements like Hugh “could do better than Crystal.”
In a new interview with UsWeekly magazine, the 31-year-old Holly’s World star claims she just wants what’s best for Hugh. “I think everyone expected me to feel one way, they expected me to be really jealous,” said Holly of Hugh’s engagement to Crystal Harris, 24. “But it’s not how I feel. We’ve been apart for two years. I just want him to be happy.”
Holly adds, “I’m more protective than anything else. I just wanted to make sure he’s making the right choice.” It also helps that Holly is currently happy with her new beau of five months, All Time Low guitarist Jack Barakat. “He’s totally cool — really down-to-earth,” she said of Jack.
In other Holly news, she posed in some new bikini photos on Tuesday just weeks after being told she needed to lose weight for her Las Vegas burlesque Peepshow. The occasion? She was being photographed for new ads for SVEDKA Vodka’s specialty HOT_BOT cocktail.
Those bikini photos are below! The obviously badly scripted Holly’s World airs Sunday nights at 10.30/9.30c on the E! network.
TELL US – IS HOLLY A JELLY BEAN? HER BODY: PERFECT? OR NEEDS TO LOSE SOME WEIGHT?
While the second season ofHolly Madison’s E! reality show doesn’t premiere until Jan. 23, one thing we will be seeing this season will be the former Playmate being asked to lose weight.
Yes, Holly was told she needed to lose a few pounds by the producers of her Las Vegas burlesque Peepshow. In a preview clip obtained by RadarOnline, “I think you definitely need to tone up,” is what Nick Kenkel told Holly, who is required to perform partially nude during the nighttime show. “I don’t know if it’s the weight, but your body right now has to be sort of athletic,” he added.
The 32-year-old Holly World’s star tells RadarOnline she was shocked by the news. “I always thought I looked fine. It was a shock to me when they told me to lose weight. I just feel like I market myself as a sex symbol, I don’t market myself as a fitness model or a professional dancer so I feel like the way I look is fine!” said Holly.
So is she going to lose the weight? “I’m still up in the air over what to do. I feel like I changed my eating habits to really healthy. I’ve lost a few pounds. I’m still getting there and deciding if I even want to lose weight.”
In other Holly news, she told FoxNews over the weekend that she is open to posing nude in Playboy again. “I wouldn’t mind doing Playboy again,” said Holly. “But only if I had creative control.”
Holly also reveals what we can expect from the 2nd season of her reality show. “This season is really dramatic and holds a lot of character development for everyone on the show,” she hinted. “Troublemakers come to town, so there’s a lot of conflict.”
Season two of “Holly’s World” premieres Jan. 23 at 10:30 p.m. on E! Bikini Photos of Holly taken during the 4th of July below -
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON HOLLY BEING TOLD TO LOSE WEIGHT? SHOULD SHE?
In a new interview with Life & Style magazine, Holly, 31, pretty much slams Hef’s new fiance, 24-year-old Crystal Harris. According to Holly, Hef can “do better than Crystal,” and she even goes on to warn Hef to reconsider his decision.
“I’d like to see Hef settle down,” Holly tells Life & Style. “I just want it to be with the right person, and I feel like he’s making a hasty decision. I’m not sure Crystal is the best thing for him.”
But it didn’t end there. “Crystal hasn’t been around very long — she’s a mysterious character,” says Holly. “No one knows much about her. Plus, she’s very young, probably too young to settle down. I’ve seen a lot of girls try to date Hef, and some have ulterior motives. I don’t think it would be a bad idea for him to get to know her a little better. I think it’s possible Crystal could break Hef’s heart. They could end up divorcing, and she could take half his money.”
Holly goes on to add that she just wants Hef to be happy when it’s all said and done. “I’m not jealous that he’d marry someone else. I just don’t want it to be a girl who’s using him to start her career,” she adds. “Basically, I think he could do better than Crystal.”
The 31-year-old Holly’s World star is refreshingly surprisingly honest about her feelings on the engagement between Hugh, 84, and Crystal Harris, 24, making it clear she wasn’t exactly thrilled to hear the news.
“I’m very surprised,” Holly told E!. “I have a lot of different feelings on it. I don’t just feel one way. I kind of didn’t want to put a generic statement out there like ‘Congratulations!’ because I felt everyone would see through that.”
If you recall, Holly ended her 7 year romance with Hugh back in October 2008 after he refused to commit to marrying her or having children with her. The E! article states Hef found out he was unable to have more kids because of a low sperm count though Hef has never publicly stated or admitted this.
We will also get to see more of Holly’s feelings about Hugh and Crystal’s engagement as she recently paid them a visit at the Playboy mansion while the cameras rolled of course, capturing it all for her E! reality show.
“I’d describe it as awkward,” she told UsWeekly Wednesday about the face to face meeting. “I just wanted to get my feelings out about the engagement and I wanted to talk to him first. It’s definitely awkward to feel like you’re confronting someone I’m glad I did it. I wanted to be fair and tell him first.”
The new season of Holly’s World premieres on E! Jan. 23. And finally, just for kicks – below are some before plastic surgery photos of both Crystal and Holly.
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON HOLLY’S COMMENTS?
“We were up in the bedroom,” Crystal tells PEOPLE, “and my favorite movie is The Little Mermaid, so he had the ring in a Little Mermaid box, and that was so special. I opened it and the first thing he said to me was, ‘I hope it fits!’ “
Crystal “is so totally devoted,” Hugh adds. “Her priorities are pretty much our relationship, No. 1 and No. 2 and 3, and you don’t always find that. Despite the age disparity, the truth of the matter is we have a great deal in common, we really complement one another, we have a wonderful time together, and I love her.”
So does the couple plan on having children? “I told my mom I never wanted children. I wanted animals instead, and there are tons of them here,” said Crystal. “If it happens, it happens, but that is not part of the plan,” added Hugh.
PEOPLE also adds that two of Hugh’s former girlfriends and Girls Next Door stars have sent their congrats to him. Kendra Wilkinson tweeted her congratulations to Hugh and Crystal while Bridget Marquartsent ‘I Do’ cupcakes to the couple.
On the other hand, Holly Madison, Hugh’s main squeeze for 7 years, has yet to congratulate the couple or publicly speak out on the engagement. In fact Holly declined to comment on the news during a recent interview over the weekend.
And while Crystal tells PEOPLE that Holly plans to say “hi” during her upcoming visit to the Playboy mansion on Wednesday (she is going there to film a segment for her E! reality show Holly’s World), the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that Holly, 31, is “very upset” about the engagement news.
As reported, Holly ended her relationship with Hugh after 7 years of dating because Hugh told her he never wanted to get married or have children again. “She can’t believe Crystal was able to get Hef to agree to something she had tried for so long,” said a source to the Sun-Times.
Sources also tell the newspaper that it is unlikely Hugh will actually walk down the aisle with Crystal, adding that this will likely be a long-term Hollywood engagement. And if Hugh does indeed end up marrying Crystal, she can expect a very tight prenup. “That prenup will be tighter than Cher’s most recent facelift!” said a source close to Hugh. Ouch.
As for the engagement ring, Crystal tweeted a picture of it last week. That picture is below. UsWeekly estimates the ring is a “3 1/2 carat brilliant-cut diamond set in platinum with micro pave diamonds the band” and is worth an estimated $90,000.
TELL US – DO YOU THINK HUGH & CRYSTAL WILL MAKE IT DOWN THE AISLE? SHOULD HOLLY BE UPSET?
Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner had a jolly ol Christmas this year by becoming engaged to his Playmate girlfriend Crystal Harris!
Hugh, 84, took to his twitter page over the weekend to announce his engagement to the E! network’s Girls Next Doorstar. Crystal is only 24-years-old (despite looking like she could easily pass for her mid-thirties) and 60 years Hugh’s junior.
“After the movie tonight, Crystal & I exchanged gifts. I gave Crystal a ring. A truly memorable Christmas Eve,” Hugh tweeted. “When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears. This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory.”
To further clarify things, Hugh added, “Yes, the ring I gave Crystal is an engagement ring. I didn’t mean to make a mystery out of it. A very merry Christmas to all.”
This will make the third marriage for Hugh. In 2009, he filed for divorce from his second wife, former Playmate Kimberly Conrad, after the two separated in 1998 (they have two sons together – Marston, 20, and Cooper, 19). Hugh was also previously married to Mildred Williams; their marriage ended in divorce in 1959. Hugh and Mildred have two grown children – Christie, 58, and David, 55.
Here’s to hoping former Playmate and Girls Next Door star Holly Madison, 31, who dated Hugh for 7 years and publicly stated on numerous occasions that she hoped to marry him and have his babies, only to have to end the relationship because Hugh told her he never wanted to get married or have children again, is being kept away from all sharp objects on this beautiful Monday morning.
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON HUGH’S ENGAGEMENT TO CRYSTAL?
Just days after Life & Style magazine reported E! reality star Kendra Wilksinson turned down Playboy because she wanted to lose more weight, Kendra is now attempting to set the record straight.
In a new interview with E!, the Kendra star actually admits she was planning to pose nude again in Playboy but explains she had a change of heart after her husband Hank Baskettfound out about it and had a talk with her.
The 25-year-old mother of one says she hired a photographer to take some test shots and get this, Hank didn’t find out about it until he came home one afternoon to find his wife posing in the living room in some skimpy attire.
“He didn’t yell at me,” Kendra says. “He wasn’t mad at me for doing that photo shoot. He actually sat down with me and he went over the reasons of doing it. And you know, my reasons weren’t right. I wanted to do Playboy for the wrong reasons. The wrong reasons are to prove people wrong, not to prove it to myself but to people and to put my middle finger up to everybody and be like, ‘I’m going to do Playboy!’ But that wasn’t the right reason, you know?”
Life & Style adds that Kendra’s first pictorial in Playboy was in 2005 with former Girls Next Door co-stars Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt.
So Kendra just basically admitted she was planning to pose for Playboy again behind her husband’s back. Must say this story isn’t helping shut down those reports of marital problems between the two.
