If you thought the second season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta was dramatic, then buckle up for the ride as the season three trailer brings even more drama!
In the two minute preview clip released by Bravo, we see Nene Leakes telling off her husband Gregg Leakes, while on a different occasion, Kim Zolicak and yet again Nene, get into a shouting match during an argument in what looks to be the back of a tour bus.
We also see Kim admitting to her lesbian relationship, and we get to see Sheree’s Whitfield’s eldest daughter make an appearance. One of the new housewives, Phaedra Parks, will also get into some tiffs regarding her marriage to an ex-con.

They’re baaaaack! The divas of the Real Housewives of Atlanta are set to mark their return to Bravo on October 4 at 9 p.m. ET.
Missing from the season 3 cast photo is original cast member Lisa Wu Hartwell, who will be getting fired phased out this season. The new faces in the cast photo are those of model Cynthia Bailey who recently tied the knot, and celebrity attorney Phaedra Parks, who recently had a baby and is married to Apollo Nida, who happens to be an ex-con.
As for what to expect this season, a Bravo press release gives us a brief synopsis of this season’s story lines. Viewers will get to see Nene Leakes endure a rocky marriage as husband Gregg is no longer working. Nene will be pursuing her independence while getting a job working as an entertainment local reporter.
Kim Zolicak will continue to work on her music “career” with castmate Kandi. With the failure of her clothing line, Sheree Whitfield will attempt an acting career while dating a doctor. And Kandi Burruss, who lost her fiance last year, will start dating again while working on her new album.

NeNe Leakes – NeNe is facing some of her biggest challenges yet. Once her rock, NeNe’s husband Gregg Leakes is no longer working and has gone behind her back to do some “business deals.” With her marriage on the line, NeNe is pursuing her independence more than ever. She lands a position as an entertainment reporter for the local news channel, seeking to transform herself into a career woman, while still keeping an eye on her sons.

New Atlanta housewife Cynthia Bailey tied the knot this weekend, but of course it wouldn’t be a housewives wedding without any drama.
First, a publicist for the Real Housewives of Atlanta star sent out a press release to multiple media outlets informing them of her impending weekend nuptials.
While the press release seemed harmless enough, Bravo was none too happy. A publicist from Bravo contacted Access Atlanta, telling them that Cynthia had yet to be officially confirmed as a new housewife.
Cynthia’s publicist, after getting a stern call from Bravo, then contacted Access Atlanta as well wanting them to take down the wedding story because Cynthia “wasn’t supposed to reveal this life-changing plot line, per Bravo’s contractual arrangement.” It was obviously too late by this point as the story had spread. Interesting though to see how things work within the Bravo network.
In other news, the wedding did take place this weekend and the NYPost ended up posting a lil tidbit about a certain co-star acting like a diva.
According to the Post, Cynthia’s wedding to restaurateur Peter Thomas was held up for 45 minutes by Nene Leakes, who apparently barged into Cynthia’s bridal suite and demanded her hair and makeup be done.
The drama didn’t end there as Kim Zolciak then reportedly got into a tiff with her new boyfriend/blond boy toy, who “was checking out a hot redhead while puffing a cigar. Kim caught him in the act,” said a witness.
The Post reports all the Atlanta housewives were in attendance except Lisa Wu Hartwell. Not surprising considering the report that came out months ago revealing Lisa will be kicked off phased out of the show this season.
UPDATE: Nene Leakes is denying The NYPost story, posting the following on her twitter page -
“Why do these bloggers lie so much! I went 2 a wedding demanding hair & makeup! Now y would I do that? I have my own team! Thank u
I caused drama @ a wedding! Yup that’s what I do now. Go 2 weddings & cause drama
I know they cant help but talk about me! Who else they gone talk about?? TING TING”

RadarOnline is now reporting that Nene Leakes has officially split from her husband, Gregg Leakes.
According to Radar, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star has been spending a good amount of time in Los Angeles recently, and has yet to be seen wearing her wedding ring.
This doesn’t some as a surprise as Gregg made recent headlines when an audio tape of him trashing Nene leaked online just weeks ago. Gregg has since apologized for the things he said about his wife. Multiple media outlets had reported a strain in the Leakes’ marriage stemming from her son Bryson’s recent arrests and rumors of an alleged affair with NFL player Charles Grant.
A source told Radar: “NeNe has admitted that it’s over between her and Greg and she was not wearing her wedding ring recently.
“She is worried that Greg might go public about some of her secrets because she has admitted that she has some ‘skeletons’ in her closet. Also Greg has indicated that he might want some alimony payments from her should they get divorced, so, the situation could get really messy.”
According to the source, Nene, 42, also fears Gregg might try to cash in on the demise of their marriage. “And he may try and cash-in on her fame by writing a book or giving interviews about their life together,” added the source.
NeNe and Gregg met while she was working as an exotic dancer called Silk at an Atlanta club. They have been married for 14 years.

Gregg Leakes made headlines last week when an audio tape of him trashing his wife Nene Leakes leaked online.
In the audio, which his lawyers are now calling an unauthorized recording, Gregg can be heard bashing the Real Housewives of Atlanta star, saying she has let the Housewives fame go to her head. “I put $300,000 of my own money for [NeNe] to become a housewife. Without that, she wouldn’t be sh*t . . . She’s going to give me every dime of my $300,000 back,” said an angry Gregg.
As we reported last week, Gregg was secretly recorded by radio host Corey King, during what he thought was a private phone call between the two. The reason King decided to tape Gregg’s conversation? Well allegedly, Gregg owes Cory some money and began avoiding Corey when he couldn’t pay him back.
In a new statement released through his lawyers at The Gardner Law Group, Gregg apologizes to his wife and acknowledges the two are having marital problems. The statement also claims Gregg’s conversation with King took place after an argument with Nene.
Excerpts from his statement below -
“On June 2, 2010, an unauthorized audio taped conversation between Mr. Gregg Leakes and Mr. Corey King was made privy to the public by Mr. King and Large FM. While Mr. King touted an “exclusive interview”, the taped recording was obtained by fraud and deception. Neither Mr. King nor Large FM were granted consent to interview Mr. Leakes and an interview never occurred.
Throughout the duration of the call with Mr. King, Mr. Leakes was under the impression that he was simply confiding in a friend after an argument with his wife. However, Mr. King has demonstrated through this blatant disregard of Mr. Leakes’ privacy that he does not even comprehend the word “friend”. The audio recording was deceptive and the release of it was nothing short of malicious.
It is not a secret to anyone that Mr. and Mrs. Leakes are facing marital challenges, a situation common to many couples. However, there is no doubt that Mr. King’s intentions were dishonorable, hateful, and inexcusable. His deceptive act was committed without any regard to Mr. or Mrs. Leakes.
Mr. Leakes has apologized privately to his wife and he offers a sincere apology to the others mentioned in the audio. Any further discussion of the matter should be amongst Mr. Leakes and those individuals, privately.”
