This week was a family-oriented week for a lot of your favorite reality TV stars- or at least there were a lot of family photos posted on Instagram.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Right from the jump, Erika Girardi and her alter ego Erika Jayne, killed it during that rookie season on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Aside from entertaining us all with her catsuits and dance moves, Erika had the audacity to call out OG cast member Lisa Vanderpump as a “sniper from the side,” something the seasoned Housewives would never be brave enough to do.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has turned into the Erika Jayne show and I cannot imagine that sits well with Lisa Vanderpump and her mini horses, swans, and her many dogs. Erika has never and will never bow down to Vanderpump or choose to be one of her (many) sidekicks. Erika’s girl Lisa Rinna explained why Erika has been able to escape Vanderpump manipulation.
This season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills started out with Lisa Rinna cleaning up her messes from last season. After her apology tour, Lisa got caught up channeling her inner Kris Jenner as the momager for her fashion model daughters and she has stayed out of the drama for the past few episodes.
She still managed to entertain when she had a few cocktails too many and kept asking “Camille, what’s the issue?” In Lisa’s absence, Dorit Kemsley has stepped up to stir the pot and that is just fine with Lisa.
Sigh. Does no one understand Kyle Richards? It is so hard to be Kyle Richards. She is the most loyalist, kindest, most sincerest, genuinest, funnest, friendest friend on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills but no one appreciates her. Especially not Lisa Vanderpump, who quite literally could hand Kyle her heart on a silver platter and Kyle would insist Lisa was lying while actually giving her a dog turd. OK maaaaaaybe that’s a bit dramatic, because LVP can also be frigid and oblique, but last night she really did, in her own way, hand Kyle her heart. Let’s see what Kyle does with it!
The ladies are still in NYC and Kyle continues to terrorize with her meltdowns. These people already have Kanye West and his fashions – don’t do this to him! On the way to the Malaaaaan Bretaaaawn show where Camille Grammer‘s daughter Mason is playing model for the day, no one spoke in the car. NO ONE. Even Lisa Rinna‘s mindless chatter couldn’t open the floodgates of argument.
Tonight the ladies are still in NYC for Fashion Week. Kyle Richards meets up with wayback-bestie Bethenny. If you’ll recall, the last time Bethenny made an appearance on the show, it was her first time meeting Erika Jayne and things didn’t go so well!
A lot of the reality stars that you love (and love to hate- or at least love to make fun of) were very active on Instagram this week, but don’t worry about refreshing your feed. We have the most interesting photos from the past few days in this week’s edition of Instagram Roundup.
Vicki Gunvalson’s ex-husband Donn Gunvalson spent time with Briana Culberson, Ryan Culberson, and their two sons in North Carolina. Randy Houska was also on grandpa duty with his Chelsea Houska’s children.
After Dorit Kemsley threw Kyle Richards under the bus for claiming that it was “weird” for Erika Girardi to decide to sleep at a hotel instead of Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave’s beach house, it would make sense for Erika to hold it against Dorit for stirring the pot, but she has moved on pretty quickly – unlike the pantygate saga of last season.
Erika even cleared the air with Kyle, so the two of them are all good. Erika had a pretty easy time last episode. She met with her book publisher and she wasn’t at the center of the drama. Instead, she provided the fandom with some solid GIF and meme material when she leaned back to apply her lip gloss while Kyle and Teddi argued with Dorit.
Even though this is only Dorit Kemsley’s second season on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the show has turned into The Dorit Show. Almost every story line this season starts with Dorit stirring the pot and twisting up information. As frustrating as she’s been, she has been the driving force behind this season. Let’s be honest: if it wasn’t for Dorit, there would be nothing to talk about.
One person who is so not here for Dorit’s nonsense is Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave. I completely understand, but if I was Teddi, I would be grateful to have Dorit as an enemy because it means I would win every single poll on Watch What Happens Live and almost every viewer would be on my side.
