NJ Housewife Teresa Giudice and Hubby Accused Of Concealing Assets In Bankruptcy

They say when it rains it pours, and when it comes to the financial troubles of Teresa Giudice, it seems to be storming.

First news came out that the Real Housewives of New Jersey star and her husband Joe Giudice filed for bankruptcy last October to the tune of $11 million in debt. Then the NYPost also reported the Giudices’ finances was being investigated by the IRS. News of a $1 million fraud/forgery lawsuit against Joe by his ex-business partner also made headlines.

Fast forward to today and there is now a new story from Zap2It, via the Wall Street Journal, stating the Giudices are being investigated for concealing some of their assets during their bankruptcy filing.

The accusation comes directly from their Chapter 7 trustee John Sywilok, who is responsible for rounding up the couple’s assets in order to distribute payments to their creditors. Sywilok is investigating them for concealing income and assets.

They alleged assets & income concealed include:

  • Interests in a pizza parlor and Laundromat,
  • Teresa’s TG Fabulicious clothing and accessories company, and
  • Teresa’s “Skinny Italian” cookbook, which is a New York Times bestseller

Sywilok also accuses the couple of making false statements under oath about their assets, income and expenses. Perhaps some of our readers knowledgeable in law can comment on the seriousness of this accusation. Is it right up there with tax evasion?

But the financial troubles still doesn’t end there for Teresa and Joe. While Teresa continues to try to convince us her home is safe, despite the fact that it was publicly listed for sale last month, albeit briefly, it seems the contents of her home might be in serious jeopardy.

The trustee is also trying to hold a public auction for the contents of the Giudices $1.7 $5 million NJ mansion, which happens to be the home they live in.

The auction has already been set for August 22, and up for grabs will be the couple’s home furnishings, accessories, tools and a boat.

Ironically enough, Teresa, who might or might not be completely out of touch with reality, is in this week’s issue of InTouch magazine showing off her home. Teresa tells the mag, “We had our house built with nothing but marble, granite and onyx.” She adds,“I don’t think you can ever have too much of that. I could’ve had even more.” And folks, we simply can’t make this up.

Real Housewife of New York City star, Bethenny Frankel’s PETA ad campaign seems to be causing a lot of controversy among other housewives. Bethenny’s naked pose (“I’d rather go nude than wear fur!”) is on a Times Square billboard for all to see, according to NYpost.

After Bethenny blasted housewife costar Jill Zarin for wearing fur, Jill responded by tweeting, “I wouldn’t throw stones at glass houses, my love.” Sources believe Jill could be referring to Bethenny’s new cookbook that’s full of chicken recipes. A source wondered, “How can someone who encourages people to buy and eat chicken be a pioneer against animal cruelty?”

However, PETA’s Michael McGraw came to Bethenny’s rescue and has said: “Bethenny is not a vegan and never claimed to be. She has, however, brought much-needed attention to PETA’s anti-fur campaign.” Another housewife that has beef with Bethenny is Real Housewife of New Jersey, Teresa Guidice. After Bethenny’s informed us she was pregnant when the ad was shot and claims there was little airbrushing, Teresa responded by saying, “Someone tell Bethenny that sperm does not make you look fat. I’m not buying the airbrushing thing in any case.”

In other housewife news, Kelly Bensimon is also getting in on the fur discussion. She asked on Twitter why she shouldn’t wear fur and she wants the cold, hard facts. “Fur really gets u guys fired up. Let’s talk facts, not emotion. Tell me factually why peeps shouldn’t wear fur. I want to know, facts only.”

NJ Housewife Teresa Giudice Disgusted By Bethenny Frankel’s Nude Peta Ad

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is making it obvious that she is not a fan of Bethenny Frankel, as Teresa is publicly slamming Bethenny’s nude PETA ad.

The two housewives’ beef started back in September when Bethenny told TV Guide that Teresa is her “least favorite housewife” because she is “whiny and unintelligent.”

Teresa twittered to her fans yesterday, “It’s cool if you like Bethenny. She probably didn’t give an interview to TV Guide that hated on you. Me, not so lucky.”

“To quote Bethenny: ‘I just threw up a little in my mouth,’” Teresa, 36, continued via Twitter Tuesday.

According to the New York Post, Bethenny boasted that she was already pregnant when the shots were taken and she was pleased with the outcome “because it doesn’t look like there’s been any airbrushing.”

Teresa on the other hand doesn’t agree. “Help me understand this,” she twittered. “Bethenny is happy with her naked pic because she was ‘already pregnant’ at the time. She says she’s now three months along, but she did the shot in August. Even if she’s four months pregnant now, she would’ve been, like, one hour pregnant in the pic.”

Teresa is actually a bit incorrect as Bethenny took the picture back in September, but point taken nonetheless. She continues, “Someone tell Bethenny that sperm does not make you look fat, and I’m not buying the airbrushing thing in any case.”

Teresa recently twitted Wednesday morning – “I love the curves my babies gave me! delicious! it makes me nervous when ppl obsess about weight when they are pregnant, esp only 1 hour pg!”

Ouch, something tells me we haven’t heard the last of this war of words between Teresa and Bethenny.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Jacqueline Laurita welcomed a baby boy to the family.

Nicholas Francis Laurita weighed in at 8 lbs. and 8 oz. was born Thursday morning, reports Usmagazine.com.

Nicholas is the third child for Jacqueline, who has a 6 yo son, CJ, with her husband Chris and Ashley, 17, from a previous relationship.

In other baby news, housewife Teresa Giudice is also expecting her fourth child in September, however the sex of the child has not been revealed.
