Right off the bat she was talking about “pot puss,” getting with her husband Joe Benigno while she was married to someone else, and she opens up more and more with each episode. So of course she has a lot of colorful things to say in response to each episode.
Real Housewives of New Jersey
As much as I hoped it would happen, I never actually thought I would see the day when Danielle Staub is back as a cast member on Real Housewives of New Jersey. What a time to be alive. If anyone was meant to be a reality TV star, it was Danielle Staub.
That’s why it’s so upsetting (and unjust) that Danielle was not asked to be a full-time cast member for her big return to RHONJ. She is at every group event. She knows how to stir the pot. Danielle is doing the most and getting the least. What is going on?
Even though Season 8 of Real Housewives of New Jersey has been airing for a month, it feels like Margaret Josephs is an official member of the Bravo family now that she has appeared on Watch What Happens Live. It really is a rite of passage for the Bravolebrities.
Surprisingly enough, the interview wasn’t over-saturated with Siggy Flicker questions. The main topic of conversation was actually Margaret’s infamous pigtails.
If you think about it, the Real Housewives franchise is a lot like Survivor. Obviously, the Housewives are a lot more glamorous, but it is definitely difficult sticking around in the tribe on both shows.
Last night on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Giacinto Gorga broke my heart yet again when he and Teresa Giudice shared more tears over the loss of her mother, Antonia. While Teresa took her family to Puerto Rico, Joe and Melissa Gorga stayed home with theirs to attempt disciplining their emerging tween. Hormones weren’t just affecting the young, as we saw when Siggy Flicker dragged cameras to her doctor appointment to discuss the finer points of hormone replacement therapy. And Dolores Catania faced off with Margaret Josephs, proving her undying
delusional loyalty to Siggy by justifying her wack-job behavior at the Gorga’s tasting party!
As Teresa packs for Puerto Rico, she tells Milania that they’ll email Joe Giudice in prison while they’re gone. Without Joe, Tre is glad she has her father to lean on. “He is my rock right now,” she admits. Meanwhile, Dolores is joining Siggy at the doctor’s office to discuss hormone treatments. In her butt. Siggy doesn’t want to be known as “Soggy” anymore, and is hoping getting her hormones balanced out will help shed her new, obnoxious image. Well, that and not sticking your tongue out at other middle-aged women, maybe? But hey – it’s a start.
After many seasons of fighting with sister-in-law Teresa Giudice on Real Housewives of New Jersey, this seems like Melissa Gorga’s easiest season yet: she and Teresa are loyal to each other, she gets to promote her businesses on the show, and her marriage with Joe Gorga is solid.
Most importantly, she’s not involved in any of the major drama. Sure, there was a huge fuss over cakegate, but most of the real fighting seems to be going on between Margaret Josephs and Siggy Flicker or Danielle Staub and Dolores Catania.
Dolores Catania gave a candid interview this week on The Tomorrow Show. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star explains why she worries about her friendship with Siggy Flicker, why she didn’t initially join the show, and why she is so confused by Danielle Staub‘s behavior – despite warnings from Jacqueline Laurita.
On her fear of the show ruining her friendship with Siggy Flicker: “Yes. That is a fear. Listen I never say never say never. I think I could handle anything, and sometimes you get caught in the crosshairs of things. Like the whole Margaret thing, and the whole, just everything. You get caught and you got to be just…my mother said to me, ‘you know it’s very hard to stay friends on this show. You gotta be careful.’ ”
As the sole remaining original cast member on Real Housewives of New Jersey, it’s only natural that the Teresa Giudice we “met” during the first season is a lot different than the lady we are currently watching during Season 8. Aside from that iconic table flip, Teresa has been known for keeping her personal feelings private, slapping on a happy face, and acting like everything is all right even when it very clearly isn’t.
I’m all for this new Teresa. She’s zen when she needs to be, she throws objects to entertain us, and she is finally open about her resentment toward her husband Joe Giudice after her prison stint.
