In a joint statement issued to Entertainment Tonight, Reed and Nicole shared, “This has been an extremely trying time. We have done our best to work through our issues in private. Nicole understands she made a terrible mistake and there has been an incredible price paid by both families.” #ThankYouBravo
Shannon Beadorhas broken her silence regarding her run-in with David Beador‘s ex-mistress, Nicole McMackin, at the USC football game. Shannon admitted that she spoke to Nicole first (and told everyone within earshot that she slept with her husband) but insisted that she never grabbed Nicole‘s arm.
On one hand, Shannon conceded that Nicole and her husband, Reed, go to the USC games regularly, but on the other hand, she questioned why they decided to sit 10 rows in front of Shannon and David. “They could buy a seat anywhere,” bemoaned Shannon. “I was shocked to see that she was there, so this time I am not going to roll over. I said, ‘You have a lot of nerve being here!'”
When Shannon Beador shared on Instagram that “someone with no moral compass” was “stalking” her at the USC game this weekend, I had a hunch that someone was David Beador‘s former mistress.
Apparently, it was, and it didn’t end well.
Multiple sources report, Shannon and David‘s mistress Nicole McMackin got into a heated confrontation at the football game. But who is to blame – the Real Housewives of Orange County star or the mistress?
Andy opens with the obvious question – why are David and Shannon torturing us, err, themselves, err, their girls with this “All About The Affair” interview?
“There’s been a tremendous backlash to Shannon,” says David. “It’s amazing that people that are on social media just completely shred her about Shannon and I’s relationship, about how I am completely removed from the marriage and look at my eyes, and it’s not true. I love Shannon. I love my family. It’s so unfair to her. That is really the reason I’m here. I’m not looking forward to this. I don’t want to be here, but I hate the fact that they attack Shannon over this. I hate it.”
A snippet from the press release: “After vows have been broken, Bravo delves into the hardships and gut-wrenching truths of repairing a strained marriage as Andy Cohen hosts a special Watch What Happens Live one-on-one with Shannon and David Beador, airing Monday, October 5 at 11 PM ET/PT. The couple talks candidly about what led to David’s infidelity, whether he was in love with his mistress, and if their relationship is strong enough to move forward and keep their family together.” Check out two preview clips from the special below.
Oh, man. I don’t know about you, but I’m getting exhausted for, and by, Shannon Beador – and I’m possibly one of the few who still really likes this wacky woman! Just watching her maneuver through the painful storyline she’s put on display this season of the Real Housewives of Orange County makes me want to lie down and take a long nap. Where’s the promise of more “upbeat” scenes with Shannon and family? Where’s the “pot of gold” at the end of the rainbow? Toto, we aren’t in Kansas anymore!
In her blog this week, Shannon once again explains – and explains, and explains – why she was frustrated with husband David at Meghan Edmonds’ game night, why she gave Meghan the side eye (but NOT the judgy eye!) about Botox treatments, and how marriage counseling has put her marriage “on the fast track to healing.”
Shannon Beador may be baring it all on this season of the Real Housewives of Orange County, but she’s growing tired of being called the “wacky” and “crazy” housewife on the block despite having precious gems installed in her teeth.
When asked what the biggest viewer misconception about her is, Shannon told All Things Real Housewives, “That I’m wacky.” So, are we not seeing the normal, everyday Shannon that’s just like everybody else? She argues, “I’m a down to earth person with a little bit of a zingy side and that’s what makes life fun. If I hear the frickin’ word crazy one more time… it’s just not nice!”
Finally we’re seeing some more upbeat scenes on the Real Housewives of Orange County with Shannon Beador, even if those scenes involve squeezing one’s flab and celebrating love with dragon bracelets! This week, Shannon expresses relief that the show is highlighting some of the healing in her marriage, as well as her body.
“I like this episode,” begins Shannon. “Finally you are seeing some fun and positivity!!!” As for her choice to bare it all at the gym, she remarks, “I know, what was I thinking??? I lifted up my shirt and squeezed all the flab on my stomach. I thought that it would motivate me to finally tone up my body and exercise. It has. As most women enter their 50’s, we get a little thicker around the midsection! Today I can say that I am still not the biggest fan of exercise, but I like the results and I am actually becoming stronger and more toned. David is such a workout fanatic so it’s nice that we can do another activity together.”
