In an unexpected twist, the two were given the option to share the $250,000 prize with each other, or attempt to keep the money all to themselves. They both elected to split the prize money, giving viewers a happy ending to the show.
And when it comes to their romantic relationship, the two said they are trying to see where things will go, admitting their relationship was no where close to that of Tenley and Kyptin, who appear to be pretty serious.
RadarOnline is however reporting today that the two are not a couple. “Natalie really likes Dave but Dave just wants to play the field,” says a source “The girls are throwing themselves at him, and he is loving it.” The site also adds that the duo did not act like a couple at a recent afterparty for the show, and that Dave ended up leaving the party with Jessie Sulidas.
As for the other couples, Jesse Kovacs and crazy pants Elizabeth Kitt are no longer together. According to PEOPLE, the pair gave things a try for a couple of days after filming ended for the show, but ultimately broke up because they wanted very different things.
Wes Hayden and Gia Allemand reunited on the reunion show, even sharing a kiss! The couple is going to give things a shot by dating long distance. “It’s going to be complicated,” Hayden says, “but maybe this was the way it was meant to play out all along. I waited and it paid off.”
Things seem to be going best for Kiptyn Locke and Tenley Molzahn. The two live close to one another in Southern California, and are looking forward to building on their relationship.“There’s so much more to get to know about one another,” says Tenley. “So we’re going to date for awhile. Exclusively.”
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE FINALE/REUNION? DO YOU THINK ANY OF THESE COUPLES WILL LAST?
Krisily didn’t take her elimination too well as she got angry and called out the couples, whom she believed would make the final four.
One of the things that you said after you were eliminated was not to trust anybody. Who do you think it was that you trusted that you shouldn’t have?
In the end, I don’t think it would’ve made a difference at all. I did definitely have my faith in Dave Goode a little bit. [He] and I did have a bond where each week we would talk about who we were voting for. So, I really trusted him. I had been nervous at every single rose ceremony and that one I felt pretty safe in — and clearly I wasn’t.
Are you still interested in Dave after what happened last night?
No, no, no, no. Dave’s a great guy. I definitely lost interest in Dave after seeing the fantasy suite episode with Natalie, I will not lie. I am all set with sloppy seconds.
Do you think that relationship will last?
I don’t. I do like Natalie. She is a free spirit and she doesn’t really care what people think, which I think is great because I am like that myself. I just wouldn’t put myself in the situations that she does, so I don’t necessarily foresee that relationship being anything too longterm.
Do you regret not siding with Wes?
I had joined that group—the outsiders—and we fell apart and no one was sharp enough to actually follow through with what they said. My strategy was to figure out who the majority vote was and go with them and figure out how to save myself each week. Kiptyn, Kovacs and Dave were the majority vote that last rose ceremony, and unfortunately Kiptyn chose not to save me … so, unfortunately, going with the majority did not help me at all.
The duo, who have been shown expressing their feelings about each other on the Bachelor Pad, walked the red carpet together at an ET Emmy party this week.
“Tonight is our first night out as an actual couple,” Tenley told reporters. “We were friends first and always, always a crush. And he’s just one of the most genuine men I’ve ever met and he’s very, very consistent.”
If it seems like just yesterday Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi announced their split through their rep, even asking for some “privacy” during their tough time, it’s because it was just yesterday, but apparently a lot can change within 24 hours.
In what seems straight out of a bad soap opera, the recently split Bachelor couple have now taken to trashing each other in the media. And when we say trashing guys, we mean absolutely throwing each other under the bus.
First, Vienna gave a paid interview to Star magazine and the accusations she throws out against Jake are not pretty. Vienna calls Jake a “monster” and then accuses him of only being with her for fame. According to Vienna, she and Jake haven’t had sex in months, and the only time he would even kiss her was in public, and in front of cameras.
“We haven’t been intimate in months now,” Vienna reveals. “More than four months. At first his excuse was that he was fasting. The second excuse was that he didn’t feel like it. And the third excuse was that he said that he felt that I wouldn’t understand that he wants to wait until marriage, even though I told him I’d support him. Then the last excuse was that we fight so much that I push him away. I was like, really — which excuse is it? I literally have been living six months with this guy who won’t be intimate with me!”
“He kisses me only if we’re on a red carpet or if cameras are there,” she says. “Besides that, I have to ask for a kiss — and if I do he’ll pucker his lips and just peck me. I’m like, that’s how I kiss my grandmother!”
Vienna also alleges Jake emotionally abused her. You can read more about the sordid break up details in the new issue of Star magazine.
It seems Jake caught wind of Vienna’s interview with Star magazine and decided to go on the offensive. While attempting to take the high road in the public eye, he had his people leak out to multiple media outlets, including TMZ and UsWeekly, that he dumped Vienna because she had been cheating on him.
The man Vienna is accused of cheating with is ABC ‘Gleek’ actor Gregory Michael (pictured above with Vienna on June 20). Gregory however denies being a homewrecker as he tells RadarOnline the above photo was taken the same day he met Vienna. Gregory tells Radar Vienna told him she was single. “She [Vienna] made it very clear that her relationship with Jake had been over for some time now,” added Gregory. Vienna has also denied cheating on Jake, saying the fabrications are “100% false.”
TMZ is also reporting Vienna has given Jake the $50,000 engagement ring back, but Jake will not get to keep it. Apparently ABC requires all Bachelor couples who don’t get married to return the rings. And in case you’re wondering, none of the men from the Bachelor franchise remain with the women they chose.
Other accusations made by Jake? Well he also tells PEOPLE Vienna was very jealous and that he did not trust her. While Jake tells the mag he did the dumping, multiple media outlets report Vienna was the one who dumped Jake by phone this weekend.
TELL US – WHO’S STORY DO YOU BELIEVE? VIENNA OR JAKE?
“Jake and Vienna have split,” says Janice Lee, a rep for the couple. “They appreciate the respect for their privacy at this time.”
Jake, 32, shocked fans on last season’s Bachelor finale when he chose “party girl” Vienna , 24, over contestant Tenley Molzahn. The pair have been very vocal and public about their love, as Vienna could be seen supporting Jake during his brief stint on Dancing With The Stars.
The split also seems rather sudden considering the pair was just photographed at an ABC event less than two weeks ago. Even more odd? Jake was just tweeting to Vienna three days ago. “Vienna gets to meet my trainer Cat next week. Hahahaha! I’m so sorry baby…! HA! @viennagirardi,” tweeted Jake on June 19th.
And despite the cheating rumors that arose after the Bachelor ended, the two always denied Jake was unfaithful and maintained all was well. Neither party has yet to publicly comment on the break up. PEOPLE however reports Jake is currently in Atlanta, taping a guest spot on the Lifetime series Drop Dead Diva; while Vienna is in Los Angeles.
Jake and Vienna are the 13th couple to break up from the Bachelor franchise. No word yet on whether Vienna will be giving back the $50,000, Niel Lane 3-carat ring she received from Jake.
TELL US – ARE YOU SURPRISED BY THIS BREAK UP? IS THE BACHELOR STILL EFFECTIVE FOR FINDING LOVE?
The season’s Bachelor finale was rather uneventful thanks to the leaks and accurate spoilers that found their way online since January.
Jake Pavelka, 32, did what had been heavily reported, by picking Vienna Girardi, a 23-year-old Florida-based marketing representative to be his fiance, over Tenley Molzahn, 25. The couple appeared on the After the Final Rose show, and appeared very much in love. When asked about a wedding date, they revealed they had yet to set one, but Vienna does plan on moving to Texas to be with Jake.
The biggest shocker of the night actually came when Jake was announced to be one of the contestants on Dancing With The Stars.
Ali Fedotowsky, 25, was also named as the new Bachelorette, which did not come as a surprise, because this information was also leaked weeks ago. “I’m so excited!” she told host Chris Harrison. “I am so thrilled and honored and grateful. I just can’t believe it.”
For some reason, ABC keeps telling us Ali is a viewer’s favorite, when in fact most viewer comments about Ali have been very negative. Perhaps people will tune in because they love to hate her.
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE FINALE? ON ALI BEING THE NEW BACHELORETTE?
Something both women seem to have in common is that they have both been in the tabloids a lot lately. Vienna has received the worst of this, as she has been described as a party girl, a cheater, and accused of stealing $5,000 from her ex-husband’s bank account to pay for her boob job. Plus multiple photos of her have been leaked online.
Tenley’s ex-husband, Ryan Natividad, has also slammed her in a recent interview he gave Star Magazine. The newly remarried undercover cop claims Tenley is not as sweet and innocent as she appears on the show. Ryan claims Tenley was “very controlling, very demanding, and very selfish” during their short lived marriage. “She’s far from the demure and innocent person she pretends to be on The Bachelor,” says Ryan. Tenley had claimed on the show that Ryan cheated on her, something he denies.
Jake Pavelka also gave a new interview to PEOPLE magazine during which he spoke vaguely about his final pick. He however says he hopes the public will understand his pick. “I just hope that everybody understands the decision I made because I’m the one who has to live with it.”
We can however reveal Jake’s final pick and the update on the couple. Do not highlight the next paragraph or read the comments if you don’t want to know who won.
As we have previously revealed, Jake’s final pick is Vienna, and according to RealitySteve.com, the couple recently taped the After the Final Rose reunion, set to air tonight, during which they appeared to still be together and happy.
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE FINAL TWO? WHO DO YOU WANT JAKE TO PICK?
The Bachelor’s Jake Pavelka has narrowed down his final choices of bachelorettes to the final 2, and according to our Bachelor poll, an overwhelming 81% of you are pulling for Tenley Molzahn to win Jake’s heart.
Another person who seems to be rooting for Tenley is someone all too familiar with the situation. Former Bachelorette Jillian Harris reveals to UsWeekly that she is Team Tenley, while her fiance Ed Swiderski is pulling for Vienna.
UsWeekly interviewed both Jillian and Ed, during which they shared their thoughts on this season’s Bachelor, and discuss their openness to having a televised wedding.
Us: What are your thoughts on the women on this season’s Bachelor?
ES: We had a chance to meet most of the girls, and I still take them at face value, yes I’m biased because I went through the ringer with you guys, but the truth is I read that stuff and I’m like she’s [Vienna's] a normal person, she really is, yes she’s gone through some weird stuff, she had some fun and whatever she did, but she’s been pretty loyal to Jake as far as we know.
JH: The thing is everyone has a past, everyone was young and dumb at one point, everyone was vulnerable at one point, everyone has made mistakes, we all have our skeletons in the closet, and maybe she has more for whatever reason. If he picked her or if he picked any other girl, it doesn’t even — we hope that it will last, but in the grand scheme of things this is supposed to be fun and it’s supposed to be light-hearted and there’s so many more awful things in the world to stress out about. For me I just look at it and am like well she probably shouldn’t have done all the bikini shoots and maybe shouldn’t have signed up for the show but everybody is human and all those girls on the show deserve to find happiness. Not one of them is a vindictive awful bad person.
Us: Having been on the show and talked to Jake, who’s your preference?
JH: I’ve always thought Tenley was a good person for [Jake].
ES: They come off as the perfect couple I think because they’re both religious, they’re both praying to end up together. But who knows. Maybe Vienna is a better person than she’s being portrayed. Ali I don’t know, there’s something about her that rubs me the wrong way. She was a bit too sassy for my liking. I think she was cute, a great-looking girl, great personality, intelligent but maybe she was a little too sassy. She left a little too easily I thought.
Us: What advice would you give to Jake?
JH: It’s so hard because as much as you say hang on tight, don’t listen to what anyone says, lean on your friends and family, it’s hard.
ES: It’s got to be like one-on-one get through it together, otherwise you won’t. you can’t just say ignore it, it’ll go away, because it’s not going to go away. You have to learn how to deal with it and either improve your relationship or move on.
