Former Bachelorette star Jen Schefft is currently planning her summer wedding to fellow Chicagoan Joe Waterman. Jen was previously engaged to Andrew Firestone on the third season of the Bachelor. She was recently laid off her job and she talks to US about her upcoming wedding and why she doesn’t want to spend a fortune.
“I wanted to be considerate of a price,” Schefft says. “I’m not going to wear a $20,000, or even a $10,000 dress. I just don’t think it’s worth it for one day. She goes on to add, “However, I’d rather save in other areas and get the dress that I really, really want.”
Jen plans on walking down the aisle in May.
