Jersey Shore’s breakout star Nicole Polizzi aka Snooki, got a verbal lashing from a New Jersey Judge during her court appearance yesterday.
This all stems from Snooki’s July 30 arrest for public intoxication. According to UsWeekly, the charges were later changed to “creating a public nuisance, disorderly conduct and annoying beach-goers.”
“You seem to be acting like a Lindsay Lohan wannabe in this matter, going through life rude, profane, obnoxious and self-indulgent,” Judge Damien Murray told Snooki following her sentence of two days of community service and fines totaling $533.
The Judge didn’t end there, also questioning whether Snooki’s drunken antics was all for show. Judge Murray told Snooki that if it was all for TV, she needed to decide if “it was worth trading your dignity for a paycheck.”
Snooki appeared remorseful for her behavior as she said she was “very embarrassed” when she addressed the court. She later tweeted “Ah never again! So scary…thank you judge for understanding, I’m very thankful for that! Whew…now I can breath!”
A new episode of Jersey Shore airs tonight during which Sammi will likely utter the words “I’m done” a minimum of 10 times before jumping back into bed with Ronnie. Photos of Snooki during her court appearance below –
