A not so shocking new report by RadarOnline reveals that Jersey Shore’s break out star, Snooki, was hospitalized for suspected alcohol poisoning.
According to Radar, the scary near death incident occurred back in May while the cast was still filming the second season of the hit show in Miami.
A source who was on the set at the time tells Radar the 4’9″ reality star “was so drunk that she had to be carried out of the nightclub ‘Dream’ by the show’s producers.” Snooki was reportedly rushed to a local Miami hospital where she was treated for the suspected alcohol poisoning.
Radar reports the show’s producers decided to leave the incident out of last week’s episode, as it actually occurred the night Jwoww’s boyfriend Tom Lippolis came to visit. This was the same night Snooki was shown playing with the couple’s feet before eventually going into Vinny‘s bed.
While MTV failed to comment on the story, the source adds that “Snooki was out of commission for about two days and was left in pain after undergoing the hospital treatment.”
In other Jersey Shore news, Radar is also reporting that DJ Pauly D is the first cast member to get his own solo spin-off show! The show, which will air on MTV, will reportedly follow the DJ as he travels the country and Canada spinning tunes.
“They have already chosen a name and of course it will be deejay-related,” a source tells Radar, adding that the show will begin filming next month.
