Viewers saw sisters Kim and Kyle Richards experience what they both called their biggest conflict ever on the season finale of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and now the big question is what is the current status of their relationship?
Numerous media outlets including the Bravo updates on the finale reveal the relationship between the sisters continues to be strained. And now a new report by E! Online attempts to shed some light on the situation.
“They’re speaking again,” a source tells E! of the current status. And what about Kim’s alleged drinking problem? As Kyle outed her as an alcoholic on the finale episode.
According to an insider, if Kim has a drinking problem, it is one she hides very well. “I’ve never seen or heard anything about it,” the longtime friend tells E!, going on to add that all the ladies on the show love their cocktails. “When you watch the show, all of the wives drink in almost every scene.” Good point.
In other Beverly Hills news, a report by TMZ reveals why Camille Grammer is stalling her divorce proceedings with Kelsey Grammer, and demanding $10 million upfront.
According to Camille’s lawyer, Neal Hersh, the main issue here is Kelsey’s pension, which is estimated at $5 to $10 million. Hersh is worried that if Kelsey marries fiance Kayte Walsh and dies before his divorce settlement with Camille, Kayte could go to the pension administrator as the widow and lay claim to the proceeds. While it is highly unlikely Camille would lose her pension rights, her lawyer wants Kelsey to cough up a $10 million bond to protect her — just in case. Kelsey has refused to put down the $10 mil citing he is unable to. A new hearing for the case has been set for Feb. 7. A judge could decide to grant Kelsey the divorce on that date.
And finally, Camille appeared on ABC’s The View this morning. While she didn’t really reveal much despite being grilled by the show hosts, she did admit she and Kelsey had a few sexless years towards the end of their marriage.
And when asked why Kelsey was in such a rush to introduce their two children to fiance Kayte and get remarried? Camille replied, “He did rush it. He did rush it. Yeah, he’s a bit impetuous, don’t you think?” She later added, “You know, he wants what he wants right away. He’s almost like a child.”
Safe to assume that word of the day calendar is still being put to good use. The interview was a bit awkward to watch as the hosts really tried to grill Camille, who oddly enough did not seem like she wanted to go into too many details about her marriage and Kelsey, unlike her previous interview with Howard Stern.
