Nene Leakes vs Star Jones take 10.
Following Nene’s latest shameful display on Celebrity Apprentice during which she verbally attacked La Toya Jackson for no good reason at all, Star is now speaking out against the Nene once again.
In a new interview with Popeater, Star tells the site “you never get involved in a pig fight,” when asked about Nene. “If you do, three things happen: you get dirty, you get tired, and only the pig has fun. It diminishes me to talk about her. I have so many other things going on in my life.”
And when it comes to her upcoming fight with Nene on the show, Star reveals she had to restrain herself from really going off. “In my heart, I think ‘pray, don’t act crazy, your grandmother is watching, your sorority sisters are watching, you were raised better than this,'” states Star.
Star, who recently released her book Satan’s Sisters, then takes the ultimate swipe at the Nene, referencing her past as a stripper. “I know there are people that value my opinion,” says Star about wanting to set a good example. “Plus, I’m not 20 minutes off the pole.” Ouch!
In other Nene news, RadarOnline is reporting she badly wants her own show. Apparently, Nene wants her own spin-off show a la Bethenny Frankel, or a talk show a la Oprah Winfrey.
“Nene is actively shopping herself around and she wants her own chat show and if that does not happen she would like her own reality show instead,” says a source. “She was encouraged when she did some slots with local television stations in Atlanta and she thinks that she has what it takes to be the next Oprah or Wendy Williams.”
The Nene has reportedly had talks with Bravo and VH-1 about getting her own show though a recent report states she and her Real Housewives of Atlanta costars have signed on to return for another season.
