Preview Real Housewives of NJ! Plus Kathy Wakile Says She Meant Well With Teresa

An all new episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey coming our way tonight!

On the third episode this season titled “Sealed With a Diss,” Jacqueline is haunted by her past as her relationship with daughter Ashley continues to weaken. Meanwhile Teresa is still fighting to mend issues with her family, hoping a letter to her brother will start the process. Caroline lends her advice to make sure that Teresa doesn’t make the situation worse than it already is. And family drama isn’t the only thing that Caroline has on her mind as her two boys, Chris and Albie are moving out of their NJ home and heading to their own apartment.

The episode airs at 9/8c on Bravo and a preview clip is below.

Meanwhile, after her failed attempt to help her cousin Teresa Giudice reconcile with her brother on last week’s episode, newbie Kathy Wakile is defending herself today. In a new interview, Kathy states that her intentions were good in reaching out to Teresa.

“It’s never been a team for me. I never wanted to choose between Melissa or Teresa. As I said before, I grew up with Teresa. Teresa is my cousin and I love her,” says Kathy to Zap2It. “I looked at her like a little sister. When Joe and Melissa got married, I looked at Melissa like a cousin too. And we all got along really, really well initially. And what happened was Teresa’s life got busier.”

Kathy adds that as Teresa got busier, she got closer with Melissa Gorga. “It wasn’t a divide that was intentional by any means,” she says. “But still sometimes Teresa sees it that way. It was not intended to be that way.”

And when it comes to the talk with Teresa at the fashion show, during which Teresa lost her temper when she thought Kathy was criticizing her as a mother, Kathy expresses regret at the whole situation. “I wish that I had just turned and walked away,” she states. “And said, ‘You know what? This is not gonna be good.’ And I didn’t, if you notice, I didn’t speak to her or try to talk to her in a threatening way. I took her in a different room, so we could have some quiet and not have everyone be involved. And you know, I did not attack her… Yes, she says I talked to her in soft voice, well I did, yeah. I didn’t go as the aggressor. I didn’t try to attack her. I was talking to her from a place of love.”

Kathy goes on to state that she “didn’t blame [Teresa] for not knowing where her children were.” She adds, “She took it that I was trying to [question her mothering]. And I was not at all.”
