Elisabetta Canalis Voted Off Dancing With The Stars

George Clooney’s ex Elisabetta Canalis was sent packing last night on the Dancing With The Stars results show.

Despite scoring pretty well on Monday night and landing in the middle of the pack, it seems Elisabetta just didn’t have enough fan support to keep her on the show.

She found herself in the bottom three with David Arquette and Chaz Bono though her score of 21 was actually better than the scores of 18 and 17 received by David and Chaz in that order.

And while the show kept Chaz in the bottom three before announcing his safety, host Tom Bergeron announced he was not really in the bottom three or at risk of going home. Perhaps Elisabetta was sent packing because viewers were a little turned off over what seemed to be an attitude by her towards her partner during Monday night’s rehearsals footage.

Elisabetta, 33, however took her elimination rather well. “For me, it was a gift every day staying here, really. It was a great adventure,” she said, thanking those who voted for her.

Her partner Val Chmerkovskiy, newbie and younger brother to Maksim Chmerkovskiy, was however a bit harder on himself. “I’m sorry. I wish I did better for you,” he told Elisabetta for not taking her further in the competition. “But I’m very lucky to be here, and I really appreciate the opportunity.”

Some are also wondering today whether the nasty tweets by the Kardashian sisters last week might have led to Elisabetta’s early demise on the show.

Dancing with the Stars returns next week on Monday night at 8/7c.
