VIDEO & PHOTOS: Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga Bring Their Drama to The View…Oh, Kathy Was There, Too

I don’t know about you all, but I am about sick to death with these Real Housewives of New Jersey and their dramatic shenanigans.  My former students acted with more maturity…and they were first graders!  This time Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Kathy Wakile didn’t limit their issues to the Garden State, but instead brought their antics to ABC’s The View.  The women’s segments (that’s right, segmentS plural) aired this morning if you were lucky (?) enough to watch.

An insider tells RadarOnline.com, “The producers on The View asked Teresa if she would try to resolve her issues with Melissa, together, on the show in front of the cameras, but Teresa said she didn’t feel she should do so in front of an audience.  Teresa felt that after apologizing repeatedly with no resolution, that Melissa would just attack her, so this all should be handled privately at this point.”  And by privately, I am sure she means that Bravo gets dibs to that smack down.

The source continues, “The show agreed to have them film separately and put Teresa on first which really upset Melissa, because she thought it was unfair. She wanted to go head to head with Teresa.”  Hence the segmentS plural…

“Teresa discussed openly the issues she had to deal with when it comes to the other women on the cast and the way they have treated her,” the insider tells the site.  “Whoopi [Goldberg] was shocked by what Teresa told her about Melissa’s behavior towards her in particular and in turn didn’t want to return to  the stage to listen to Melissa bad mouth Teresa.”  Well, well, well all, so a nun/medium is backing Teresa.  I see the fan scales now tipping in her favor!  (I kid, I kid.  I think all of these women are equally ridiculous.  #Team Joseph Wakile)

For once, Whoopi had an unusual ally among her co-hosts.  The source reveals, “Elizabeth [Hasselbeck] sympathized with Teresa too about what she has endured, off camera during the break.”

“Elizabeth asked Melissa if she joined the show by going behind Teresa’s back and she got caught up in a lie.”

However, wherever there are Teresa “insiders” there are anti-Teresa “insiders.”  So it goes…right?  Celebs.Gather.com is reporting that another source discredits Teresa’s fear of being attacked by her sister-in-law as a reason to film different segments.  This insider says,  “Melissa and Kathy were fine to go on. They weren’t looking for a confrontation.”

The same source continues, “Teresa pulled this s–t [refusing to film with Melissa] because she wanted the segment for herself.  Melissa had no plan to take her down. There was no attempt to take her down.”

Teresa isn’t denying her request to be interviewed separately, tweeting yesterday, “Yes this is true. I did ask for a separate segment. Tune in Fri & see why.”

BUT WAIT!  I almost forgot about the mysterious cell phone conversation that keeps this giant ball of insanity rolling!

Yet another anonymous source (gotta love these guys gals!) tells the NYDailyNews.com that once Melissa Gorga heard the news of Teresa’s separate segment, she “flipped.”  The source continues he/she overheard a cell phone conversation in which Melissa said, “[O]ur plan is ruined…so we have to come up with another way to take her down.”  Sounds very cloak and dagger-ish, no?

A rep for Melissa says this is entirely false.  She states, “Any insinuation that  Melissa went on The View to take Teresa down or made a phone call to that effect is absolutely not true. Teresa refused to appear with Melissa and Kathy so the women did two separate segments.”

Her spokeswoman also addresses Elizabeth’s questioning of Melissa, telling the site, “Melissa specifically asked Elizabeth to address Teresa’s claims so that she could tell the true story, which Elizabeth did.”

And just what is that true story?  One final (don’t I wish) insider reveals, “Melissa is upset that Teresa told Joe Gorga that Melissa is a gold digger and would leave him for another man.”  Well duh!

Who to believe, who to believe.  Is there a d) none of the above?

For the eight of you that haven’t seen it, below are videos of the ladies segments on the show. Oh, drama. Seriously…  if the Emmy Awards ever starts honoring best reality TV performances, Teresa and Melissa are going to be competing (yet again) for that one!

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT ALL THIS FOOLISHNESS?  SHOULD TERESA HAVE BEEN FEARFUL OF MELISSA AND KATHY?  DO YOU BELIEVE THE STORY ABOUT THE OMINOUS PLOT-FOILING PHONE CALL?  ARE YOU AS OVER THESE WOMEN AS I AM?
