The Bravo Housewives aren’t the only ones who like to copy one another and engage in a little one-upmanship, apparently the girls of Jersey Shore are guilty of it, too.
Deena Cortese and Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola started sniping at each other on Twitter about their similar cars. It started off small with Sammi’s Tweet, bringing to light the fact that Deena had purchased a car very much like her own BMW. “congrats to @DeenaNicoleMTV for her new car that looks EXACTLY like mine. #cantyougetyourownstyle it’s alright Imitation is flattery”. She continued, “Anyways lol onto more important things in life then a car…”. After her followers started engaging, she wrote, “It’s all in good fun people relax alil..”.

Deena found it less than ‘in good fun’ and started tweeting out photos of her new ride, along with some digs at her Jersey co-star. “lol @mtvsammi WOW. lol pretty pathetic..im pretty sure theres 11231 ppl out there with white bmws..does yours have a stripe? red interior? the m package?? OH WAIT! and yours is a 5 series! and mines the new 3 series.. honestly you ranting over twitter bc of a car is pathetic..if you were a real friend youd say congrats..like my other 2 girls with beamers”.
Deena also slammed Sammi’s attempt to make light of the digs, “the texts were not in good fun @MTVsammi n you didnt have to bring the drama to twitter.. #WHOCARES enough of this childish bs..going to start my day.. love”. She didn’t end there, adding in other slams like “im not fighting over a car im sticking up for myself..who tweets something like that when people are unhappy for other people or pick others apart..that just means they are unhappy with themselves” and “my interior.. Sam take a pictures of yours..im sure its EXACTLY the same.. your sad giiiir. here u go side by side.. they arent exactly the same sam..” #richpeopleproblems
In other less dramatic Jersey Shore news, Sammi and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro are possibly hinting at their own spin-off show. Our suspicions were raised when Sammi shared in a recent interview that the two of them have just rented an apartment together in NYC. “We actually went to look at apartments this weekend, and found something, we are moving to New York”. During the interview she made several remarks about the viewers not getting a “true picture” of their relationship in that one little ole hour a week. Which reads as “ya’ll will be SO shocked to see what we are REALLY like, the REAL us”.
What she really said: “It’s only an hour a week. There’s a whole bunch more to the story. By being in a relationship, you go through a lot of ups and downs. At the time, it was a rough spot for me. But me and Ron, nobody got to see that we had a real connection. There were a lot [of reasons] for me to stay with him.”
I could see this turning into a spin-off, giving them the chance to show us their relationship away from the Shore gang. Rawn & Sammi Take New York.
