Shaunie O’Neal’s Bestie Cleared in Box Cutting Incident

Basketball Wives star and producer Shaunie O'Neal certainly surrounds herself with some classy people, I'd say.  You know what they say though, birds of a feather and all that jazz!

The show has been plagued with lawsuits since its inception, but they usually involve peripheral players.  Yet another legal entanglement surrounding the show has been settled as well, and it involves Shaunie's friend and "celebrity shoe consultant" Rashidah Ali.  Rashidah was featured on a few early episodes of the series as a pal of Shaunie.  Rashindah was sued for $10 million after allegedly cutting a man in the face with a box cutter.  What is it with these women and their box cutters?  Paging Kenya Bell

A bouncer at the Greenhouse nightclub sued the shoe fashionista claiming she sliced his face with a box cutter when he was booting her from the club for fighting with another patron.  The YBF reports that the case against Rashidah has been dismissed without prejudice.

Rashidah tells the site, "For the past year and a half, I've endured the backlash and ridicule due to this individual's false assault accusation against me. It is beyond disturbing to see that someone would consider ruining an innocent person's life for their own financial gain. This individual exposed his true intentions when he made a video uploaded to YouTube stating that he was 'tryna get paid.' Justice has been served today and I'd like to thank my parents, my forever friend Ed, my attorney Mr. Gotlin and everyone who genuinely stood behind me through this very difficult time. Today is a new day. Thank you."

Well, I guess all's well that ends well for Shaunie's friend Rashidah
