Lilly Ghalichi got quite the lesson in famewhoring after her first season on Shahs of Sunset!
The itty-bitty, uptight reality star is reacting to what it was like to be on the popular show and talking her relationships with co-stars and the fans!
Lilly says she joined the show after running into Reza Farahan while drinking tea. "I was just sitting there having tea, and he was two tables away. At the time, I was in the market for a house, and he told me that he was a realtor. Our friendship began that way. He asked me if I would try out for the casting on the show and I decided to do it." And despite being really happy she did the show, Lilly kept it a secret from her very conservative Persian parents! "My mom thinks it is fabulous. My dad…he does not approve of me doing the show," Lilly shares with The Examiner. "I didn’t tell my parents that I was doing the show until it was done filming. I told them a few days before Bravo announced me as the new cast member. I wanted them to hear it from me, rather than somebody else."
"People can be really harsh and critical. It can be hard to put your whole life out there for everyone to see," Lilly acknowledges. "I’m not pleased with all aspects. However, I am pleased as far as being a part of the show and the overall experience."
Lilly also insists she is just a normal girl! "I think multiple times during the season I came across as very uptight and stuck-up. That is not who I am at all," Lilly says. "I am just a regular girl."
Lilly says the best part of the show was the friendships she made and the exposure her business received. Thank God she was able to teach all of us about crotch juice.
"Reza is so fabulous. People always ask me if he is that fabulous and funny in real life. The truth is: no. He is even more fabulous. He is truly a star," Lilly gushes about her reality television benefactor. "Asa [Rahmati] and I are probably the closest of the whole cast. We hang out all the time."
"I’m close to Mike [Shouhed] as well. It is only MJ [Javid] and GG that I have not become close with," Lilly adds. "We have no friendship at all and don’t speak," Lilly says of her relationship with MJ.

"I would be open to having a friendship with her. I would welcome a relationship with her," Lilly admits. "I think that MJ and I could learn a lot from each other in life. We are basically polar opposites, and people like that can really benefit from each other."
REZA INSISTS MJ IS AN ADDICT; SAYS SHE NEEDS SERIOUS HELP!
"I need to let loose a little more in life, and MJ is the queen of having a good time. MJ needs a little more structure in her life which is something that I am really good at. I think we could have a friendship. I am not sure if that will ever happen. If there is a season three, everyone will see."
